Something I just noticed - Elk got progressively bigger as this saga went on, from being able to fit in the truck bed, to whole split head surrounding the truck. I'm assuming that's a thing related to how Ellie and Eli can control their size/how much they transform too. A nice detail to include, to show the comparisons with Elk's version of Eldritch vampirism!
