He wouldn't have the same accent or timber I don't think, but I know the mustache instantly makes folks think Elliott, ha. Eli isn't modeled off of anyone other than a few refs of Jeff Bridges/Christoph Waltz. I wanted a fairly generic deep south fella (Georgia) with Italian lineage. Ellie later originates from Jackson, Mississippi, which is near where they both end up and where a majority of "The Velluto Duo" will take place, later to relocate to southeastern Louisiana. So nothing in the way of southwestern or western roots/speech/design, which is interesting because I myself am from the southwest, but wanted to keep this all contained to the east.
