New Year, and new Goals

Hello and happy new year everyone!!! I hope all of you made it safely to the new year. I wanted to give you all a mission statement and some updates and goals for this year. I have a lot to accomplish and first I want to thank you all for being here with me, and supporting my work. 2024 was hard, one of the hardest years I have had in a very long time. But towards the end things got smoother. I found the resolve I needed to pull up my bootstraps and start doing what I do best. Grind. But more importatntly, doing something I forgot to do. Invest in myself.

I havent invested in my skillset in a long time. I did start animation, and that was what kickstarted my thirst for learning. I feel like at some point I settled for my skill level and stopped striving for higher heights with my art. That will be changing this year. You may have noticed that I have been streaming 4 times a week. That will continue and I want to be transparent with my schedule so you guys can tune in. I found that this has worked for me.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:45pm - 11:45pm

Friday: 11pm- Until I get tired lmao

I have settled into my day job and after getting off at 4pm I can spend time with my wife, then dedicate time to catching up on my que. I am nearly finished with it, and once I am, I will dedicate all of my time to my patreon reward tiers, and the monthly polls. That is the big goal this year. Once my com list is completed I will start projects! I have a lot in mind, but for now these are in the planning stages but the 2 I have in mind are going to be a series of digimon comics with Terri and the gang! Im sure you have seen V, she and a few others will be its focal point.

The second project is my own personal one with my OCs. This is one that is a long time coming. I will be diving into studies on anatomy, gestures, story boarding, and many more things so I can get the ball rolling on this adventure I want to tell.

So what does that mean for you guys?

I want to earn your support. Montly polls will absolutely still be a thing, same with coms! I know people ask me a lot about com work and I will always be open to discussion. But after a lot of hard lessons, I have deffo learned how to handle them better so they dont pile up again. It has been a learning experience in the last 3 years needing to use my art to live. But if I want to do this full time, the next time I approach com work I will be much more prepared.

A big point I am going to hit this year is character interactions, which tie into the comic making! I love character interacitons and the only real reason I dont do that or comics was frankly because I was afraid it wouldnt be good enough. In reality I need to just...well do them haha. There is a comic I am working on for a patreon that really ignited the fire to just starting the flow. The wips will be up soon on here and the discord server.

But the big thing I want to get the ball rolling on is character asks. Its one I really want to do more of because it lets me flesh out the cast to you guys, and I think that would be an amazing way for me to practice and show you guys what my OCs are really about! I am setting up a way to have the OC asks to come back and make them manageable. Very excited to get that kickstarted.

Animation is also one thing I am loving the process of. I will be doing many more this year and looking to improve greatly. The Rouge animation was very well recieved and I believe I will repeat that on a monthly basis now that im more disciplined with my drawing schedule. It makes a great inscentive and I really do love hearing all of your comments and what you want to see! Please dont be shy to comment on anything I post. I read every one and It makes my day to see you guys engaging ^ ^

I think that is about it though. This year I am looking to make massive strides in my work and my work ethic. I learned and exprienced a lot of harsh lessons in 2024. But it is time to truly move forward. I can't wait to show you guys what I am made of.
