Dated production values - very "stagey" but first rate acting and writing. Second, again on a Roman theme, have you heard of "Britannia" - kind of dark mystical take on the second Roman incursion into Britain? If you liked "Rome" you might like this though the setting is different. Has a number of famous uk tv and film actors in it - notably MacKenzie Crook (UK Office, Pirates of the Caribbean, Detectorists) as a heavily made-up Druid.
