2023-11-23 23:01:18 +0000 UTCChris Barrie who plays Rimmer was also in another sitcom called 'The Brittas Empire' which started the same year as this series 1991, he played the completely inept manager of a leisure centre and it was pretty funny, I always enjoyed it, seeing as you like Rimmer so much you should maybe pencil it down on your future to-watch list.

2023-11-23 22:08:33 +0000 UTCDefinitely in my top 5 of Red Dwarf episodes - I love it. So many great scenes - my favourite though might be the whole Winnie the Pooh execution - we don't see it but imagining it is far funnier than if they'd actually showed it!

2023-11-23 22:06:57 +0000 UTCThis was always an episode I liked too :) I'm not sure if it was in the series documentary (as each series had one), but the story of the guy who played Gandhi caught a cold whilst filming, and also getting burned by one of the explosive charges as he couldn't move quickly enough in the scenes. So at least person suffered from that war!
