"It's my turn!" Zahra said, standing on her majestic four legs. She had microphone in hand and was ready to start singing. I stared at her while I finished my drink. 

"Kathy! Stop undressing her with your eyes and just get a room already,” Barbara teased as she patted my back. I winked at her, not even trying to hide it. I didn't care who knew I was into Zahra.

"I'd love to," I replied. We linked hands, helping each other stand, and when we were sure no one was watching us we made our escape. A few minutes later we were in the quiet of her home.
