2018-09-04 05:54:32 +0000 UTCYep. The people of Patreon say that they did this because of an issue that the business partners located in the USA put many obstacles to work with NSFW content. It is a nuisance in any case for everyone.

They're using a British bank to do the monthly collections and many of us in the US have cards that automatically block out-of-country charges. So we need to call the card security group and explicitly authorize the charge - every month, after the fact.
