What can I do to make my patreon better?
Added 2020-11-01 17:34:52 +0000 UTCHey all! Wanted to ask you what you think I could do better to make this patreon a better experience for you as well as getting new patrons! Any critics or suggestions are totally welcome!

Oh, I'd love more short stories, 3 panels is enough for a little tale!

2020-11-02 01:59:13 +0000 UTCA poll would be a good idea of different characters of patreon simple sketch or flat color sketch, to save on time for you, and maybe each tier gets a vote and the higher tiers get an extra vote to incentivize those tiers and then only post it here as an exclusive to get more members is my suggestion or an other one at least seeing these one

2020-11-01 21:50:42 +0000 UTCHi Dim! These are some awesome suggestions. I'll set up a poll as soon as I can with somethings to gauge what people would be more interested in seeing. Honestly I have almost no time to make kink art for myself anymore. It's not paying bills and while I would love to unwind and enjoy art again what comes first is surviving. I'll try to keep that in mind more with surprise pieces though. Glad to know the monthly fanart was a good pitch to the patrons, but I will definitely try my best not to go too crazy on them. Simple edits are really all I have in mind! I've been considering making exclusive stuff for patreon only. It's more a question of how I want to go about it and WHAT to keep exclusive. I really didn't want to keep things exclusive as I don't like pay walls myself, but I do find that people who have exclusives have way more patrons. And honestly I'm at the point that doing what's best business-wise is more important :/ Thanks again for this long comment and I hope mine adds some clarity to why I do things!

2020-11-01 20:58:46 +0000 UTCHi, Dim Pixel here! Thought I'd offer my 2 pennies as for random suggestions: * I usually find it easier to get a gauge on what people want by doing a poll, as asking people for feedback tends to give them option paralysis lol. Fill a poll with a bunch of features / art topics you're willing / able to do, and you'll get a clearer picture of what the tum folk wish to see. And absolutely don't put anything in you're not interested in, otherwise it might win lol. * The majority of your posts are comms or sketch requests. As these are (presumably) for patrons, it's not going to be much of a surprise to them when they appear in the feed (although they are all excellent, I should add!). I would suggest a few more surprise pieces of art, of things you're itching to make for yourself or ideas you think would be cute / sexy / funny / interesting. For example, you did that Among Us comic: that was funny, but also nice tum content. A few surprise pieces of your own choice would be fun IMO! Let's see what Slick wants to make hehe. Time / energy allowing, of course. * You've started doing a monthly fan-art poll, which I think is a great addition for those not on your sketch tiers or getting commissions. The more people see that kind of content, the more they might be tempted to join up and try to get their selection in the poll. Definitely don't go overboard on this kind of voted-for content unless you can do it / feel like doing it, though! * The taboo suggestion is exclusive stuff to Patreon. There are people who will not pledge if everything is posted publicly, so keeping some stuff behind will convince them their pledge is value-for-moolah. I started my Patreon with a strict "No Exclusives!" policy, but when I realised a few exclusives encouraged pledging, I started doing Patreon Deluxes. I'm not sure how much stuff is exclusive, but if you're not doing anything exclusive, maybe consider it. Again, this is a more controversial one, so if everything else doesn't work, THEN consider this. Okay, I've written a long enough comment lol. These are just my thoughts on making stuff for Patreon over the last year or so. If you want to pick my brains any further, let me know!
