Hey Jeffrey! I (Dennis) definitely agree the writing in this show is one of the best I’ve seen and I’m still discovering new things on my 4th or 5th watchthrough! And wow my mistake on the voice actress - I need to look her up, she absolutely blew me away

The writers and animators for Arcane are scarily good at misdirection, among many, many other things. You may have discovered this in the interim, but Ella Purnell's voice acting--incredible in its own right--starts in Ep. 4, after the time skip. For Ep. 1-3 the voice actor is Mia Sinclair Jenness. Mia was 13 or so when they recorded the actors for this episode. According to the BTS series from Riot, "Bridging the Rift," she nailed the first take and left everyone in the booth dumbstruck.
