Ken You Not Dollhouses
Added 2020-08-03 18:19:29 +0000 UTCSurpise!! I have lots of goodies for you all coming up!! :D I am trying to release all these odds and ends sets I have worked on over the past month and here is the first of those!!
We all know the dollhouses in sims are... well EA sized. So I have 5 new, gender-neutral dollhouses for you that are only 1 tile in size and function even when placed in cubbies or on top of cubbies! There are 4 "types" of dollhouses themed with the different styles (victorian, modern, castle, etc) which basically means they play with different dolls/toys when interacting with the dollhouses.
Currently, there is a bug in EA where adults cant play with the kids... but this is a game-wide bug that even effects the EA dollhouses among other things. I did test this before the bug happened and it worked dandy so it should work when EA gets that fixed!

It looks very cute to have multiple family members kneeling together on the rug talking and playing. One of my malcontents seems to enjoy smashing/destroying these more than the large ones.

2020-08-03 21:41:42 +0000 UTCThese aren't the dollhouses from around the sims 4 and I didn't do a recolor. These are actually an EA mesh. I would hope you would see my integrity by now and think higher of me and not assume that I stole someone else's work. I don't even steal textures from the internet - for the ones I don't create I pay for them. I was not aware that she had done something similar until someone on tumblr told me about 30 minutes ago. So I will just copy and paste my response I said there: I was not aware - I donβt really look at other creators work TBH, there are not enough hours in the day lol! The objects themselves are an extracted EA mesh and sometimes with extracted EA meshes creators have the same idea like in this case. Also she is very talented and creative so I am not surprised we had the same idea! And I havenβt had a chance to look at theirs yet, but without looking I can tell you ours are not the same. Mine arenβt just directly extracted... each one was modified individually to fit snugly in the cubbies which included resizing/moving parts. I also recolored it in several variations. In addition, they are all different versions of the dollhouses (4 different types total) that are in theme with the object. The positioning of the sims are also modified to bring them in closer to the items. And last big change I made was modifying the footprint to allow them to be used in/on the cubbies without routing issues.
