A Long Overdue Update

First of all, hello everyone; welcome newcomers, and thank you to those who have stuck around.

Getting right to it, the short version of the story is that I lost my vision (I got better, don’t worry), which has honestly been terrifying. I’m told it was likely a result of some of the other medical things I’ve been through, but fortunately for me, it was surgically correctable.  I am two surgeries in, and might need one more, but I am back to the point of being able to read again (with the help of glasses and with only one eye working).

Take care of your vision, everyone. Losing it is not a fun experience.

You’ve all probably noticed that my website is gone. I don’t know what happened to it, other than that I received a notice saying that something malicious was going on.  I have tried to get it working again, but the backups failed and I’ve had no luck. At this point, I don’t want to spend the time and energy that it would take to build a new website–I’d rather be writing–so I’m going to be changing the way I share stories.

There is a chance that some stories were lost, but I think I’ve managed to find copies of them all.

Right now I am working on putting together an e-book/PDF formatted master collection of all stories so far that will be available for Patrons, and I am able to share it now as a work in progress. This would be through Google Docs, though I am open to other ideas.  Does that work for you? I do have lots of ideas for new stories, but my focus for the short term is getting the full collection out to everyone again. I also want to re-edit, expand, and publish some familiar stories in the near future.

I am planning to include a dedication page for Patrons, but out of respect for privacy I am only adding names by request–If you want your name (nickname, alias, handle, etc.) on the dedication page, then please send me an email at Nicky.Noxvill@gmail.com letting me know how you want to be credited. This dedication page will also be included in future print and/or e-books.

A Day For Getting Litigious

In which corporate power is challenged. New content available now, and more is on the way (along with a personal update in the near future).

The website continues to baffle me. The old version doesn't actually exist on the backend anymore, but even I am still seeing it unless I use the IP address.

I'm also playing around with some AI art generation, for those who enjoy illustrations with stories.

I'm having an issue, and I'm not sure exactly where the problem is. Are any of you seeing the updated website (black background with white text), or are you still seeing the old one?

On the Road Again

I wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that charges will be resuming next month.

The good news is that things are finally settling down and becoming more stable around my new home. The bad news is that it's partially because contractors haven't been showing up to finish, but that's something I'll have to figure out later. In the meantime, my office is together, internet service is connected, and interruptions are down.

The first thing you'll be seeing is an overhaul on the website. It might be wonky for a bit while I figure out what works and what doesn't (web design isn't my strongest suit).

There are going to be some changes to content moving forward, but I'll go into that later after I figure out if I can make some of my plans work with the website.

I want to thank you all for sticking with me through this, and welcome all the newcomers. I look forward to the many sexy adventures to come.

The Pause Continues

Just like last month, you will notice no charge this month. I literally don't have the words to express how much I'm ready for this new home to be set up and finished. Somehow my office is on the same circuit as the kitchen, where the contractors keep having to shut off the power as they work.

I want to apologize again for this pause, and thank you all for putting up with it.  So much work goes into getting into a new house, and since I'm helping a family member with dementia, there are a lot of problems I keep having to find solutions for--things I thought I'd never have to deal with since I never planned on buying a home.

No Charge

Some of you may have noticed, but you have not been charged for February.  Between the months-long move, getting sick, burnout from the past few years, and general chaos, I have fallen behind on releases.  

So I'm pausing charges for a while.  

I still have many stories to tell, and I want to give myself the time to tell them well. While the moving is finally done, there are still renovations going on that are a source of constant interruptions, but the end of that is in sight, too, and my new office is really starting to come together.  

I will announce in advance before charges resume, and I am going to be leaving the passwords as they are for now, for both newcomers and so that anyone who leaves can keep accessing them until I'm caught up.

Saturday Reading and an Overdue Update

New content is available now, but don't go rushing off too quickly; the Supporter password has changed.  I will be sending it to everyone in the next few minutes, but please let me know if you have any issues getting the new password to work.

I also want to apologize for being so quiet.  Life has been chaos lately, and now I'm in the process of an unexpected move, but the end is in sight, and it comes with a better space for me to set up an office and get work done.

In the meantime, new releases will be coming out each month, but not necessarily on Fridays.  I apologize for this, and look forward to getting back to a regular release schedule.

A Productive Friday

In which a story grew into something much more than originally intended. New content is available now.

Please note that I am trying something different and am editing/expanding in segments (rather than either make you wait longer, or rush it).  When this started, I planned for it to be much shorter, so I'm very happy with the way it's grown.

An Update

Thank you all for your patience, and I am back at work. The past couple of weeks have been insane and feel like the plot to a poorly written novel. Days after my dog was killed, a family member had a heart attack that put them in the ICU.  They are recovering in the hospital now, plans are made for them to come home, I have my dog's ashes back, and I am at my desk writing. I expect to have something out within the next few days.  

I have also been giving some serious thought to future plans, and I look forward to sharing them with you soon :)

I just found my dog killed in my yard, and I'm fucking broken. I don't know how to do anything right now, but if it looks like it will interfere with my writing I will suspend my campaign next month.

It's All About Timing

A Very Nicky Vacation

The stars have aligned for me to go on a vacation with someone I haven't seen in years, so I am going to be taking the month of June off from writing.

Not to worry, you don't have to do anything and you will not be charged for the month. 

I will be pausing my campaign for one month and will be resuming the regular release schedule in July.  I will also be releasing two more stories before I go, now that I've gotten through the writers' block.  

I still have so many ideas that I'm excited about, and so many stories to tell, so I look forward to returning refreshed and kinkier than ever.

Progress At Last

I've finally made a breakthrough and made some progress I'm really happy with. It still needs to be edited, so it will be out tomorrow.

I'm having some brutal writers block right now, so I'm going to change things up to work through it.  I'm breaking the overdue chapter into three segments, and I'm focusing on them one at a time.

The first part is available now, and the remaining two parts will be coming over the next few days.

I apologize for being late, and for the random change; it might seem odd, but the idea is to change the way I'm thinking about it, since what I'm doing isn't getting me past it.

Fire Emergency

A Saturday With Balls In The Air

In which Nicky wrote a thing that he hates and wants to start over on.  My continuation from last week just isn't working, no matter how much I pick at nits, and I don't think I'm just being self conscious.  Sometimes things change course as I write them, and in this case I might have run into a ditch ;)

I'm re-writing it from my original outline for next Friday, and I'm releasing the first part of what I had planned for then tonight.  The second part will be added either tomorrow or Monday.

New Brainwashing Project

For anyone who is interested, I am at the start of a hypnosis program from an online 'tist I trust, and it's already been a wild ride.  When it's over, I want to write a memoir style story about the experience, and I'm already taking notes ;)
