Radiation Box - our FanBox space in Matrix

Like I told you guys we are not doing Discord anymore. Not for FANbox at least. Guilded.gg seemed for many a bust, just another place where you can be booted from for sharing even more calm 2D boys. So I spent some time (a lot of time rly) testing Matrix, how to utilize it for our needs... and then ShotaWorld came around and started hosting their own Matrix server. So I prodded, massaged some arms, put some money in and we have nice own place in their server now.

Keanu what? What is this Matrix you talk about?

Yes. I made whole big post explaining basics of the Matrix [HERE]. If you are ever confused about it and I didn't explain it, comment there, I would like to update it as more questions and problems come around.

First you will need an account on the service, then follow an invite. I would like you to post your FANbox username there [REQUIRED], so I can keep track of ppl who join FANbox, leave it and what level of subscriptions they are. If you join and not post your FANbox name, you will be kicked even quicker than it was on Discord.

Why isn't whole space encrypted?

I talked about it with ShotaWorld admins and whole server is only accessible through https ssl secure connection. It isn't as good as end-to-end encryption Matrix provides though. Your internet provider will still not see anything from the server or the "shotaworld" name itself. There is one reason for it - if you want to see history of an encrypted room you need to click on invite for every one of them specifically. I want this experience to be as pleasureable as we can to everyone and as seamless with previous Discord server. So there will be only one invite to the place you post your name for me to record. That place is encrypted. You will be send individual invite for a place with archives if your subscription is FAN+ or bigger. That place is also encrypted.

UPDATE: For now invites seem to be bugged. We are trying to fix that problem.

UPDATE 2: Okay, so with how private spaces on Matrix work, one need to get an actual invite from user to user or a specific e-mail invite. Basically invite link is not an invite, but just a link to a room.
