Titan's Teeth
Added 2015-03-03 16:08:02 +0000 UTCThere is a stout tower along the Akkedis Trail that is decorated with massive white chunks of stone along its battlements. To those who pass through its shadow on the trail it has become known as either the Crown of Teeth, or the Titan’s Teeth. It is said that the “teeth” were pulled from the ancient corpse of a primordial titan of wind and sight. The same tales would claim that the teeth confer some of the titan’s powers to those who stand atop the tower, granting the ability to see incredible distances and to accurately shoot at twice or three times the normal range of a longbow. The Titan’s Teeth has four levels above ground (plus the battlements) one level half underground and a final “dungeon” level underground that contains a secret passage to the surface some distance away. This is the first map released on the blog under a fully free commercial license. In my campaign it was built by the Lords of Eight, a clan of quadri-dextrous spider-folk. But the nice thing for someone wanting to use this in a product where it was built by right-handed humans is they just have to mirror the map horizontally.

2015-03-10 11:38:50 +0000 UTCNice ! had to search the secret door for a awhile, though. Sould have read the text ;) BUT the stairs are not in the direction they are usally built. Usally the defender from top could swing his sword/mace/... in the outside of arc. But maybe this tower is built by a clan of lefthanders. :)
