Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a good weekend so far! I didn't get to go on my morning walk today so I'm feeing a bit like I put my finger in the electrical socket 🤣 That calls for a long walk tomorrow morning.

Layered sounds or no?

I'm editing a video (the 3rd for this month so for both tiers) and there are parts where there are breathy whispers / slow inaudible whispers. Would you prefer some delay/reverb/layered sounds there? Or clean without any effects or layering? I'll export the video in about an hour so whatever the poll shows I'll do that ☃️

Which video colour grading/style do you prefer? I really can't settle on lighting. I think I prefer a brighter softer warm tone. I know I already asked on Youtube but I want to know what you guys think. I have been trying to do more warmer colours as I believe they're a bit easier on the eyes at night? Hmmmmm. Soo I made a patreon version of the sick/taking care of you video with what I *actually* do when I'm sick, and what most of the people I know in Bulgaria do 😂 I forgot one other thing, where you mix a tablespoon each of honey, vodka, and oil, you mix and emulsify it really well and take a spoonful every few hours. It works great to keep your throat warm if it hurts, or if you have a dry itchy cough developing. It burns but it really makes it feel like it's working 😂

what did that fireplace crackling sound like to you? It was the only way I could think of to create a realistic fireplace crackle sound. On second thought, wood-wick candles also burn quite fireplacey, but I don't have one of those. But anyway, this is what recording layered sounds looks like 🤣 Pumpkin seeds make such an aggressive crackling and popping sound when they come out of the oven, as they cool down. It's insane.

Guuyys I filmed another bonus video for december where I make + paint salt dough christmas ornaments and little shapes/decorations to use for the gift wrapping video. In the first half of the video the fridge is making noises cause I had to film in the kitchen, but I think I did an okay job at softening that noise in adobe audition. Do you still want to see the video or should I scrap it?

Hi! For this video I brought back last year's elf but in a more quiet type of way with little fidgeting sounds and inaudible whispering here and there! I hope you like it! I found it to be more relaxing for this video in particular instead of always searching to fill the quiet gaps with whispers, which is something I tend to do, that I need to unlearn, because those quiet gaps are exactly the moments that give me tingles in videos. I think I just need to learn to talk less in videos.
