Update

Hey everyone. I still can't believe it's already June. This year feels like it's flying by. I have a couple of things that I wanted to discuss and I figured the best way to do that was in one big post.

Audios and Schedule

As I'm sure you have noticed by now, I haven't been keeping to the schedule every week. On top of that the audios I have been publishing have not been as long or as creative as I'd like them to be.

As you may remember, I got COVID-19 and the flu in the same week about two months ago. As a result my childhood asthma has made a comeback. Recording for more than 10 minutes at a time is debilitating, and I struggle to spend more than 30 minutes A DAY recording content. Even if I spread my work out as much as possible I can't be making 2-3 30 minute audios a week like I once was.

On top of that, I have long-covid and everything that comes with that. The biggest impact has been the brain fog. This has had a huge impact on both my work and my degree, and it now takes me about twice as long to make the same amount of content.

I don't know how long things are going to be like this, but for the foreseeable future my content schedule is going to be more of a suggestion than a hard rule. Comment below to let me know if you'd like me to put a poll up so you can vote on which audios you'd like me to prioritize throughout the week.

Equipment Changes

I'm currently in the process of building a new computer. There's going to be some growing pains as I make the switch over to my new setup (driver issues, getting software set up correctly, making sure I can access all my platforms etc.). All that means is that over the next couple of weeks I might not be super responsive if you reach out, and there also might be some issues with content that I post (but all of you have been great at letting me know when I need to edit something).

~~~~
In summary, expect some minor disruptions over the next couple of weeks and let me know if you'd like me to put a poll up regarding the content schedule.
Thank you all for being such amazing supporters and allowing me to keep making content for you all. I deeply value each and every one of you for what you contribute to my work and my life.
I hate to hear that you’re still dealing with the aftermath of COVID. I have asthma and it is never fun when that gets aggravated 😞 Sending you lots of love and hoping that you get to feeling better soon. I think polls are always fun, but honestly I think you should just do whatever works for you right now. If you need help deciding on what to do, sure do a poll. However don’t put a poll up and then feel like you have to stick to whatever the results are if you aren’t feeling that particular type of audio. First priority is taking care of yourself, we will all enjoy your content as it comes, whenever it comes ❤️
Take care of yourself. Your health is the most important. We will still be here. You are one of my favorites to listen to. I go back and relisten to so many of your audios. You are the reason I even discovered this genre. I hope you feel better and we will always be here.
