Heres a reveal of a post I did recently.

Using the old ways of making Bap, Koala sampler is so great for that. Screen record your samples and add it right into the app, such a great workflow and quick video to audio conversion.

I make alot of beats like this on my down time just messing around with samples I find on Youtube.

Dont record over your tape cassettes

I missed popping the tabs out on the tape cassettes for tier 3. Pop those tabs in so you dont potentially record over the contents on the tape cassette.

Most Tapes come pre popped.

back in the day we use to cover the holes with tape so we could record over the tapes we had laying around.

this is an example of where and how I get some drum sounds.

To me the best sounding drums are live drums, sampled, chopped, and slowed down.

Theres a huge difference imo.

I like to stay away from the one shot kits, and instead chop a "drum break"... So much more life in that!

I do use one shots at times also though lol

A dope techniqie is to blend the two, mesh a chopped drum break with some one shots. 🔥🔥🔥✌🏽❤️💎
