Post Comic Fireside, "Nothing Happened" talk.

My fever is gone!

Which means it was 100% related to me crunching and being nervous about the stupid comic. >.<

Ugh. Kinda ruined my weekend a bit but hey, at least I'm not actually sick. : D

First of all. Thank you guiz. <3 Amazing amazing feedback that really helped me get through the last two days. I'm being a little self-celebratory but I was kinda loopy the last 2 days (on account of the fever) so forgive me.

Or don't, I am kinda always about that life. xP

Ok, so I'm back on the work week and resuming fun October stuff. : D So here, I wanted to talk about "Nothing Happened" with everyone now that the dust has settled a bit. I want to get deeper insights so I know what works and what doesn't. I want to walk away from this able to do better for the next. My goal was always to do better than Yor X Marin because that was my Freshman outing with a comic. Here, I had experience of two previous ones (The OC comic while less of an event, at least gives me some breathing room to experiment without so much pressure since it's lower stakes.)

But I want to get better and take the right lessons from the success of Nothing Happened. So here are some questions I have, and then I'll close out with what I will be doing comic wise going forward, or at least an idea as I haven't 100% decided what's next.

As always, feel free to DM me if you are more comfortable that way. But we have a pretty cool crowd here. I sometimes doomscroll other creators Patreon's (at least posts I dun gotta pay for) and no one, and I mean no one has the crowd I do with the insights and chattiness of you guys.

And just to be 100% clear, I absolutely fucking love it. <3

But ok I'm rambling like Tifa talking about her shopping trip, here's what I got!

1. Did you have a favorite scene? Both NSFW or SFW are fine — multiple are okay too.

2. Did anything stand out to you visually?

3. Are you okay with the sort of hybrid format I use? (Traditional pages with bubbles and text mixed with more visual novel inspired full-page panels.)

4. Did you read it all in one go? Were you okay with how long it took?

5. Was there any particular scene that made you stop scrolling, or one that you came back to a few times to appreciate? (Again, SFW or NSFW are both fine , multiple answers welcome.)

6.Did you appreciate me going all in on the “Levi-verse” aspect of the whole thing by having multiple cameos, both OC and fanart, tied into the story?

7. Are my stories starting to get too long, or are you generally okay with the length?

8. When they finally have sex, did it feel earned through everything else I tried to do?

And that is what I've got. It's not all inclusive, just meant as a primer. Answer some of them, all of them, or none! Any insight or comment you want to provide I want to hear. I have a little feedback spreadsheet I use and tie to people and to help me gather my thoughts about things. And it alllll goes in so I can looksie to try and understand my people. : )

I don't have an order picked out yet. And I am THINKING about doing a "Christmas Special" comic as my next one that is both fanart and OC. xP I HAVE NOT DECIDED YET. And I won't for the next few days until I get some feedback in and try to process things. I also just need a cooling down period before I start outlining again. : D
