Tier Reward! Stuffed Mutton Furever Pg.26-30 WIP Update!

One step closer to finishing the next chapter of Stuffed Mutton Furever!  I've laid out the flat colors for the pages, and I'm excited to get to work on the final painting and details!  I love getting to this step, because now its time to really see the pages evolve into their final, detailed form!  So satisfying!

It was a lot of fun drawing out these pages, Remi's latest transformation has made a lot of new positions possible!  She's so strong now!  If she can carry a big boy like Master Wolf on her back, surely the litters of wolf pups growing within her should pose little challenge... right?

Exactly! It is a shame, because the technology and tools of AI can offer so much! If I knew that the artists were being paid for their contributions I would have no problem using it myself! Until then, I don't want support any form of art stealing, no matter how useful the product offered is! Given time I'm sure a fair replacement will appear with better and fairer practices!

Honestly. The whole AI thing is way too early having no rules and unfortunately been abused by greedy corps and more or less thieves trying to get a quick buck. It's a shame that it'll only be known from their negativity by those mentioned.

Great question! Now that the "shiny new toy" phase of AI has worn off for me, I've been taking a more honest look at Ai and what it has to offer. It's a wonderful tool that has massive potential for the future, but I've come to realize that the benefits it brings come at the cost of the artists that the Ai learned from to create the image. For example, NovelAi, the program I was using to create the AI art operates from a curated set of images that were fed into the AI. This on its own is not a bad thing, but as far as I know, the artists whose art was used to create the AI were not involved in the process, or were unaware that their art was being used feed the AI. They also do not receive any of the profits that NovelAi generates using their art. Because of this, I've decided that I will no longer support NovelAi, as their tool is built off the backs of artists who had their work essentially "stolen" in order to create the AI generations that people pay for. Due to this grey area, I feel uncomfortable using the tool further, as I can recognize the styles of artists who I've admired for a long time, and it feels wrong to pay a company who uses an artists work without permission, or at the very least, fair pay. I'm conflicted, because I really enjoy the tool and think it has massive potential, but until there's better protection for artists and their artwork being stolen, I don't feel comfortable supporting NovelAi further. I hope that in the future, Ai programs and Artists can work together to both profit from the technology in a fair, and mutually profitable manner. Until then, I'm going to abstain from using it.

Curious question. How has it been since you've been playing around with AI art? Learn anything new?
