GOBLIN'S HAREM- CH-81. Come on, hit me

In the face of such power, Lorraine knew that if he acted rashly, his safety could be at risk.

"Little one, what's your name?" Lorraine asked cautiously.

The little red-haired girl raised her head and answered innocently, "Name? My name is Annie~"

"Annie?" Lorraine frowned slightly. He had never heard of that name before.

However, he didn't want to delve into it at the moment. He tried his best to maintain a kind smile and asked, "Did you lose your little bear?"

"Yes, my little bear is lost."

Annie's voice carried a hint of sadness, her big eyes glistening with unshed tears. The expression on her face made it impossible for anyone to look at her for long without feeling sympathy.

Lorraine's heart tightened, but when he considered the potential power of this little girl, he couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat.

"Don't worry, we'll definitely help you find your little bear."

Lorraine tried his best to appear calm and comfort her, though his heart was pounding in his chest, and sweat was running down his back.

While Annie appeared innocent on the surface, the system's warnings made it clear that she possessed a power that should not be underestimated.

Lorraine's heart raced with alarm, but Annie looked up at him with her innocent big eyes and asked softly, "Where should I go to find my little bear?"

Her sweet and melodious voice, combined with the innocence and cuteness on her face, made her seem like a harmless child.

"Over there!" Lorraine panicked and pointed casually in a direction.

He knew that he had to resolve this situation quickly; otherwise, if she lost control, the consequences could be dangerous.

Lorraine's heart tightened nervously as Annie followed his direction.

However, in his haste, Lorraine had pointed toward an area that was heavily guarded by San.

Annie, however, showed no hesitation. She happily skipped toward that direction without a second thought.

Lorraine stood there helplessly, watching the small figure walk away.

He sighed deeply and silently hoped that this little girl wouldn't clash with San.

In the dangerous Shadow Forest, any wrong move could lead to unforeseen consequences.

Freya was walking toward them from afar, holding a gleaming holy light staff in her hand, beads of sweat falling from her forehead like crystal pearls. "Huh~ It's been a while since I've given it my all. Shall we continue to the next mission?"

"Wait a little longer, let's wait for San."

Lorraine raised his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead, his expression somewhat serious.

When San noticed Lorraine's expression, he was confused but still nodded loyally, showing his understanding and obedience.

"San, come on, we should go!"

Lorraine called out, a hint of urgency in his voice.

Not long after, San proudly returned with the little red-haired girl—Annie. He reported with a sense of accomplishment, "Boss, I've found a little girl. She said she was looking for her lost bear. We looked for it together, but we couldn't find it. So, I brought her back."

San said this as if he was taking credit for his efforts, and Lorraine's face darkened.

If Lorraine had a weapon in hand, San would have been in serious trouble by now.

Behind Lorraine, the little girl Annie was staring at him with disappointed eyes. Her gaze held a flicker of fire, and she was clearly upset. Despite her anger, her innocent expression still made it hard to feel anger toward her.

"Uncle, I followed the direction you pointed, but I couldn't find anything. My mother always told me that lying never ends well."

Annie's voice was firm, filled with dissatisfaction and disappointment. Her little face was full of hurt.

As her emotions stirred, faint wisps of red energy began to rise around her, adding an ominous aura to her frustration.

Her red hair and clothing seemed to merge with the glowing energy, making her appear as if she were a creature of flame.

The sight left everyone silent, with San in particular growing uneasy, fearing that he might be caught in some sort of fiery accident. He stared at the suddenly intense little girl with a mix of fear and awe.

"You will pay for deceiving me, Uncle. Be ready!" Annie's voice was sharp, and she summoned a ball of fire in her hand, her anger ready to manifest in flames.

Lorraine's face grew pale. He hadn't expected things to escalate like this. This little girl, full of hidden power, had caught him off guard.

Facing someone with such raw potential, Lorraine felt vulnerable.

Just as Lorraine braced himself for the worst, Annie's fireball expanded, but then, unexpectedly, it dissipated mid-air, as though it had never existed.

For a few moments, Lorraine stood in confusion. He was unharmed. As he opened his eyes, he saw Annie looking just as puzzled as he was.

The flames around her had vanished, leaving the scene with an unsettling silence.

Annie, determined not to give up, tried to conjure another fireball, only for it to fizzle out before it could even form properly.

Lorraine couldn't help but chuckle in realization.

Annie might possess immense potential, but she was still learning to control her abilities. She wasn't as formidable as she appeared.

"Come on, little one, try again!" Lorraine teased, trying to provoke her in a playful manner.

Annie, now even more frustrated, glared at him. But after several failed attempts to summon flames, Lorraine could tell she was starting to lose steam.

"Haha, little one, you're still too young to be playing with fire," Lorraine said, enjoying the moment, though his tone was teasing rather than mocking.

Annie, flushed with frustration, tried again—this time rushing toward Lorraine, not with fire, but with the intent to scold him.

Her movements were swift, but her lack of control over her powers made her actions seem almost comical. Lorraine easily dodged her attempts.

It was clear that, despite her fiery potential, she still had a lot to learn.
