Villain in MCU- CH-97. Fear of Jason!

As soon as Billy opened his mouth, he directly mentioned the name of the Irish gang leader, which surprised the gangster standing at the door.

However, what surprised them even more was that the man claimed to represent Jason Walter.

That name was a legend in the underworld. Even before causing such a stir, Jason had been the ace gunman under the crime lord Kingpin.

That reputation alone was enough to make these small-time gangsters revere him for the rest of their lives.

To avoid any misunderstandings, one of the gangsters asked, "Which Mr. Jason Walter are you referring to?"

Billy laughed, "Which one? The Mr. Jason Walter who caused chaos in New York and Los Angeles, kidnapped Hollywood stars, and outsmarted Tony Stark."

Hearing this, the gangsters immediately tensed up, their expressions turning serious.

"Please wait a moment!"

The matter was too significant to delay, so they quickly pushed the door open and hurried into the factory to inform their boss.

Billy stood there calmly, a smile playing on his lips. Seeing the nervousness on the gangsters' faces only made his smile widen. Joining Jason in Long Island Prison had been a wise decision.

Less than three minutes later, the gangster who had gone to deliver the message returned, bowing respectfully, "Sir, please come in."

Billy nodded and followed him into the factory. The spacious workshop was dimly lit, with several lathes covered in cobwebs scattered haphazardly across the floor.

After navigating through the maze of machinery, Billy finally arrived at a brightly lit area. In a room resembling a bar, a group of muscular men smoked, drank, and toyed with their guns.

The gangster leading the way said apologetically, "Sir, I'll need to check you before you meet the boss."

"I know the rules. Go ahead." Billy replied, raising his hands with a calm expression.

"Sorry." The gangster said, signaling two burly men to step forward and conduct a thorough search.

Finding no weapons, the gangster smiled and pointed to a wooden door at the far end, "Sir, the boss is inside."

"Thanks."

Billy straightened his posture and walked confidently to the door under the watchful eyes of the gangsters. He pushed it open and stepped inside.

The office was spacious, filled with thick cigar smoke.

Thankfully, there was no smoke alarm in the room. Billy waved the smoke away and walked further in. Four leather sofas were arranged in a square, with three middle-aged men in suits seated on three of them.

Seeing Billy enter, the three men stood up nervously, "Are you Mr. Jason Walter's representative?"

Billy nodded, holding up the invitation in his hand, "Yes. This is the letter from Mr. Walter."

"Please, have a seat."

Billy walked over and sat on the remaining sofa. He placed the invitation on the table and slid it forward.

The leader opened the envelope and read the invitation.

Billy spoke, "To ensure the New York gangs have a better future, Mr. Walter wishes to discuss a plan with you. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. three days from now. Mr. Walter will send a car to pick you up."

As Billy finished speaking, the boss finished reading the letter.

He passed the invitation to another man, forcing a smile, "It's an honor to dine with Mr. Walter."

The leader hesitated, then added, "Unfortunately, I'll be leaving New York in three days to handle some business abroad. I may not be able to attend the dinner."

As soon as he finished speaking, Billy's expression darkened, and his voice rose sharply.

"Let me repeat—this is Mr. Walter's sincere invitation. He is very much looking forward to this dinner and expects everyone who receives the invitation to attend on time. If anyone fails to show up and disappoints Mr. Walter, I don't need to explain the consequences."

Hearing this, the three bosses exchanged uneasy glances, their faces filled with embarrassment, anxiety, and worry. They were all older than Jason. They had watched him grow from a small-time gangster to Kingpin's right-hand man, only to eventually turn against Kingpin and gradually erode his power.

Simply put, Jason was a ruthless killer, a man without conscience or morals. If he could betray Kingpin, who had once helped him, what would stop him from turning on them, with whom he had no prior ties?

The dinner three days later was undoubtedly a trap—a modern-day "Hongmen Banquet."
