GODZILLA- CH-30. Frog-fish People Like Zombies Released from a Cage
Added 2024-11-17 03:09:12 +0000 UTCThe tentacles were nearly a thousand meters long, and the huge body hidden under them resembled a small island in the sea.
Just looking at the size of the octopus was enough to make the three beasts' scalps tingle.
However, perhaps because it had been ambushed by the octopus and lost face, the water lizard became violent the moment it recovered from falling into the water.
It was angry and immediately summoned its most powerful water power.
Thus, the moment more than five huge undercurrents swirled in the ocean, the war between the gods officially broke out.
Above the sky, the giant moth hid in the low black clouds. With the help of the wind, it guided the sea water and formed tornadoes that continued to rise into the sky.
Then, a huge tornado swept toward the area where the octopus was!
As for the giant snake, this creature had been sneaky from the start, and it remained the same now.
It just dealt with the frog-fish people scattered across the seabed and never ventured near the range that the octopus's tentacles could reach.
But no matter what, the giant snake's efforts to kill the frog-fish people helped suppress their wild attacks on the four tribes.
For a moment, on the battlefield of the four behemoths, the aftermath of the entire battle began to sweep across a large area of the sea.
The entire ocean became extremely dangerous in an instant.
Waves hundreds of meters high, tornadoes over a thousand meters tall, and deep-sea undercurrent whirlpools affecting large areas of the seabed—all of it seemed to be destroying the world.
And right in the center of this devastating ocean, the four behemoths were still fighting.
Whenever the water lizard was entangled by the tentacles of the giant octopus, the giant moth in the sky would fly down and use the tremendous power of wind to stir the sea water and attack the octopus.
It was with the cooperation of the giant moth that the water lizard could escape danger time and time again.
But even so, the water lizard and the giant moth roughly understood that it would be almost impossible to deal with the octopus with their current abilities.
After all, the octopus was in the water, and its water capabilities were extremely similar to those of a water lizard—and even better.
The two giant beasts roared at the giant snake, urging it to step forward and join the battle, or at least use its fangs to bite the octopus!
However, the giant snake was completely in a mess and refused to take the risk.
Instead, this creature roared back at the two beasts with confidence.
It seemed to be saying: "Didn't you see it? That monster has eight tentacles, each about the same size as mine! If I get close to it, I'll be killed, right? Besides, you can't beat it, so why do you expect me to do that?"
Although the water lizard and the giant moth were angry at the giant snake's self-righteousness, they could only keep it in mind.
After all, among the three beasts, the water lizard and the giant moth were the closest, while the giant snake had always been a little vindictive, still remembering the threats it suffered from the water lizard and the giant moth.
So, although the relationship had improved slightly over the years, in the end, they knew not to expect the giant snake to really contribute.
The two beasts also knew the nature of their relationship, so they could only suppress their anger for the time being, and they made up their minds that no matter how the battle ended, they must deal with this giant snake!
In this way, the continued tug-of-war battles across the entire ocean became the entirety of the next few days.
It was not until the arrival of James that the war truly took a turn for the better!
Logically speaking, with James's current terrifying tonnage, he should have sunk to the bottom of the sea as soon as he entered.
Not to mention swimming, it would be impossible for his heavy body to float in the water.
But the truth is, the moment James entered the sea, all the cells in his body seemed to have awakened ancient memories.
That was the time when the world was first born, when Godzilla was sleeping in the ocean and was born from the cellular memory of the sea.
So, when James's cells sensed the presence of water, they became inexplicably active.
This finally made James understand the plot hole in the movie—why Godzilla was able to stand up in the deep sea.
Godzilla is not an ordinary creature; his body is something between matter and elements.
When matter and elements reach a balance, it makes the creature special.
Of course, it's not just James who is special; most of the other giants are similar.
Although James cannot use water like the water lizard, he is as agile as a fish in the sea.
The earth is his home, and so is the sea.
As James swam through the sea, the whirlpools created around him were even more terrifying.
Just by turning his body with his tail, he could create violent undercurrents in the water.
Of course, the three tribes in the water did not dare to get too close to James's back. Most of them stayed far away from him.
However, the three tribes didn't follow James for long.
Because James didn't wait for them. After entering the sea, they soon couldn't even see his shadow.
James swam too fast.
It wasn't that James didn't care about the three tribes, but that he had his own plans.
After all, if he encountered some giant beasts in the ocean, it wouldn't be safe for these little guys to be too close.
Therefore, to avoid being held back and also to keep the three tribes safe, James had to distance himself as much as possible from them.
After all, in a war between giant beasts, these little guys couldn't contribute in any meaningful way, so it was useless for them to follow.
Thus, James swam in the sea for almost three sunrises and sunsets before he saw the terrifying scene on the distant skyline.
The sky was filled with endless gales and thunderstorms, and heavy rain poured down continuously.
The sea was violently creating circles of massive waves that surged toward the outer sea areas.
As these waves washed over James, he could also see densely packed corpses of the ugly frog-fish people.
When James emerged from the sea, he was almost overturned by the massive waves.
Fortunately, he adjusted his posture, dove hard, and then entered the seabed.
No matter how turbulent the sea level was, the deep seabed remained calm.
However, this calmness soon disappeared as James approached, swept away by countless underwater turbulence and whirlpools.
Adjusting his state and adapting to the sea, James rushed forward without fear of the turbulence. Finally, he arrived at the source of the chaos.
The ocean that came into view was filled with densely packed frog-fish people fighting with warriors from the three aquatic tribes.
Although they were small, each one of them was like a crazy zombie.
For example, James just saw a snake man using a bone spear to pierce a row of frog-fish people. Before he could shake the corpses off the spear, dozens of frog-fish people latched onto his slightly larger body and started biting him wildly.
And then, nothing happened. All that was left of the snake man were a few pieces of bones.
James felt a chill as he watched this scene.
At the same time, he didn't forget to look at the sea.
At this time, the Mosquito Man of the Son of Wind was flying low over the sea, constantly stabbing the frog-fish people on the surface with his spear.
Just like a seabird attacking fish in the sea, the nimble figure was quite graceful.
However, these frog-fish people were also crazy enough, especially under the command of some slightly smarter frog-fish. When the Son of Wind dived, dozens of frog-fish people jumped out of the water, trying to catch the Son of Wind, whose size difference wasn't too significant, and kill him.
However, the Son of Wind was no pushover. The small whirlwind carried by his wings only needed a vibration to blow the frog-fish people who jumped out of the water to attack back to the bottom of the sea.
At the same time, higher up, the Son of Wind was constantly throwing spears toward the bottom of the sea.
When the Son of Wind ran out of spears, the Dinosaur Man and Shark Man commanded the sea beasts to kill a wave of frog-fish people, then pick up the spears and throw them into the air.
Then, the four tribes began to retreat for a distance, starting to fight the frog-fish people repeatedly, and continuing to whittle down the overwhelming numbers of the frog-fish people.
"Isn't this better than a zombie movie?"
Seeing these scenes made James's blood boil.
These four tribes are quite cooperative, and they're definitely clever!
Although some tribesmen died from time to time, the number of deaths was almost several hundred to one compared to the frog-fish people, and sometimes even thousands.
If the physical energy consumed by the four tribes isn't taken into account, this war might very well be won by them.
However, it's a pity that the physical strength of the four tribes is now greatly reduced, and they are all out of breath.
Where could they retreat to? To land?
Who knows if the frog-fish people will follow?
Therefore, the four tribes had no room for maneuver in this battle.
Besides, if they fought a guerrilla war on land, the Shark People's territory would be completely destroyed by the frog-fish people.
