Hay there. And there. And there's some over there as well. What's going on? Are we inviting some horses over for a feast? What am I supposed to wear? My horse costume is in the washer, dammit! Didn't you think of that, huh?
And this, fellas, is why you never marry horse-people. As in someone that loves horses, not a centaur. Always marry a centaur if the opportunity arises.
Technically the poll isn't over, but the Ruru X Saranhil X Jarlina scene is quite far ahead with their now 58 votes, so I think it's safe to assume we have a winner! I have some ideas for this scene already...
As of writing Ruru X Tanathil X Zavnessos is at the bottom with a mere 4 votes, which makes total sense given they got a fair amount of airtime last episode. Somewhere Jhan'draga is smug about not being dead last.
Also taking note of Grishla and Tanathil being the two most popular prospects for a joining MC and Ruru in a scene. Will I make something with that? No guarantees, but I am thinking about it.
Isn't this more exciting than some stupid renders of pointy-eared people? Here's how my brainstorm-canvas has evolved. The ones at the bottom with almost visible titles are scenes that I've written, or am currently writing (the windows are scrollable once you zoom in). So, yeah, written five full scenes so far. Mind you, it's all part of the first draft. Though I'll probably end up using a lot of it, given that I have a pretty good direction for the episode. But it depends on what ends up happening with the writing going forward.
Ideally I'll manage to speed through the rest of the first draft next week, and after that I'll fully figure out exactly how the episode will play out. There's always so much stuff to try and fit in without making it too long.
I now realize that the title up above made it sound like I threw away the first draft, either that or that I copulated with it. Neither is true! I did not have sexual relations with that draft!
On a completely unrelated note, I have a bone to pick with the expression: "History doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes". A rhyme is a repetition of syllables, like come on! And how do you make an expression with the word rhyme without having it actually rhyme???
Come to think of it, I have no idea what having a bone to pick with something is about.
I suppose this is all leading me to one realization. See, when I've been writing other stuff I've been thinking about coming up with expressions that exists solely in the world I'm building. But it's tough to come up with something that sounds clever, but not too clever, if you know what I mean.
Then I look at the expressions we actually use and realize that most of them are dumb as fuck and make little to no sense. Don't overthink it, that's my realization. Which is the realization I come to in almost every scenario when I think very hard on something. Am I coming to a meta-realization? Nah, I'm thinking too hard about it.
Anyway, that's my scribbling for today.
Thank you very much for your support, and I wish you many centaur suitors and suitresses this week!
PS. Can we coin a term for futa suitors? Fuitor? Fuitress? Futa-suitor is actually kinda catchy.
