Update #127 Too many animations

Yo! Gary B comin' at ya with another update from the underground! What do I mean by underground? Uh... I dunno. I guess this NTR+Futa genre thingy is niche enough to be called underground. Right? Well, I'm going to claim it to be so.

You see, the first step to selling out is to first manage to be underground. Or so I understand the concept anyway, I'm not exactly a scholar on the matter. Here's what a scholar does have to say on the matter:

Scene 13 is finally done, with the spicy scene added at the end. That makes it sound like it's a small scene, and it's really not. For some reason it has 8 regular animations, plus a few of the small two image ones. I don't know why I did that, just went with the flow as usual.

This spicy scene was the one you all voted for, meaning it's Zavnessos getting some loving. I'll probably have another similar poll next update, not sure which characters there will be to choose from though, need to know what I'm doing with the script first.

All-in-all, this update will have by far the most animations in a single update I've made. It already has, and I'm not finished making all the spice. Didn't plan for it to turn out this way. At least it gives me a nice thing to point at when people ask what I've spent my time on this episode.

Delving deeply and greedily

Although I'm not fond of how much spice there is towards the end of the update, feels like I'm just piling it on scene after scene. Going to try and get it a bit more spread out again next update. There are always so many things to consider, and I'm scatterbrained at the best of times, so there's always something I overlook. Although, come to think of it, I may have mentioned this before. Maybe I had to make compromises. My memory doesn't stretch that far back. Either way, I wouldn't have any fun making this if I felt it was easy, so feeling that I have things to improve on is only good.

Updated a lot of the HS2 mods finally, had been putting that off for a long while. The reason for it is that I don't want things to mess with my graphic settings, and the updates have indeed messed with my graphic settings. Still fixing things up on that end. But I saw that a crash-causing memory leak had been fixed in one of the mods, and that mod depends on other mods, and on it goes.

Anyway, hopefully that will cut down on my crashes. Haven't had one since I updated! Actually, no, that's not true. Usually I have my upscaling set to 4x when taking renders, but doing that now made some weird shit happen, and when I tried it a second time it caused a crash. But it seems that the new 2x upscaling has the same quality that the 4x setting used to get me. As I said, still ironing things out.

Looking forward to making scene 14. The actual renders may not turn out to be that interesting I suppose, but it's a silly little scene with my favorite thing to write: really dumb jokes. Are they the good type of really dumb jokes? I dunno, I never know how people will react to the stuff I make. Usually I just assume that if something makes me laugh, it'll probably make someone else do so as well.

An idea has been growing in my mind about trying to write some actual fancy poems. Problem is that all I can think of writing about tends to turn... uh... misanthropic. But maybe that's just the angle I might take, write a whole collection with the entire goal of justifying my ever growing misanthropy. Could be a fun side project. But as many side projects it might just turn out to be more fun to think about than actually doing.

Well, we've gotten all the way down here and I still haven't written the title or the greeting, so I'll need to figure something out. Hmm... Misanthropic musings? Nah, I didn't do much in the way of musing today. Could've been a fun title for the game though, MisaNThRopic Musings. What have I actually written about today? Updating HS2? Too many animations? You know what, we'll go with that last one.
