Update #103 Fellowship of flow

Hullo, my fellow fellows. Follow me down the path flowing downriver, down to the flowering fields of I think I've run out of words with f's and w's in them. Forward? Eh, doesn't quite fit. Flawed? Now that fits and is meta.

Scene 16 is all done, and I think the animations turned out pretty alright. I feel like my skill (or lack of thereof) with animations is leading me to having a fairly varied quality of them. That's bound to happen while learning, and they're certainly better in general now than they were a year or two ago. Still not something I would consider a strength of the game, but at least I don't feel like it's a weakness either.

This is me reading Terry Pratchett in class, annoying everyone around me by laughing.

I've just about started on the final scene, so there isn't much to preview. The first part should be pretty quick and easy, it's the second part I'm dreading. It'd be nice if I could get all the renders in a week, but I don't have high hopes of that.

Anyway, the previews today won't be overly exciting. Next time they'll probably be more interesting, though no spice. I suppose you can have something slightly suggestive today just because I'm feeling nice. There you go!

Red and blue making dreams come true.

I wrote a whole rant on LLM's here (AI stuff) at first. Again. But I changed my mind, better not retread that ground, it's nothing but annoying negativity.

Instead, let's have a shout out for Greta Thunberg, the chaddest Swede to be born this century. No, I'm not being sarcastic. The world needs far more loud and angry young people to spit in the eye of, well, just about everyone really.

More people with intact spinal chords in general, that's what I'd like to see.

Ugh! Spines! My only weakness!

You do seem to need a very flexible spine in order to slither your way up the totem pole that is politics. Would an LLM write that sentence? Didn't fucking think so! GARY! GARY! GARY!

Sorry, I just really enjoyed that segue, which is spelled segue and not segway. I bet at least someone learned something new there. Not me of course, because my spelling is immaculate, immeasurable, and immolative.

That reminds of the rant I deleted, it was about the whole list of three thing and how LLM's write them but don't actually make interesting lists, they just list things for the sake of it. Never do they subvert expectations with the third item on the list, which is the classic way of making such a list actually interesting.

Is immolative even a word? I don't know, but it sounds like one and you totally get that I implied that my ability to spell is fiiiire, so it works.

Anyway, on that confounding note I think it's time to end today's excursion into rant-town.

Thank you so much for your support, and I hope your spine is ramrod straight this week!

Going out to protest for what you believe in is far more than most people ever do, so as far as I'm concerned you can feel proud about that. Looking forward to releasing it as well, cheers!

Sir Gary Bummer

Greta is a special person for sure. I went to my first protest yesterday and it went very smoothly, but even that wasn't easy and I felt like I could have done more. I really like the word immolative, we need a lot more of that and some sturdy spines these days. Thanks for your work, really looking forward to the update!

Thanks for the update Sir Gary Bummer.

Looks like ya got me. I surrender, sheriff.

Let's be honest. You only gave her a shout-out because she's 2003. Subtly implying you're holding it for the last century πŸ€”
