If CatDog were to be a part of a 69, would it be called an 89 instead? Oh, hey! Didn't see you there, just having some shower thoughts out loud.
Speaking of shower thoughts, I've been thinking about why we have those and I have a theory backed up by no science what so ever! Well, it was backed up by nothing what so ever, then I did a little bit of reading and naturally I wasn't the first one to have the same thought. Stupid other people with their brains thinking faster and smarter thoughts than me.
Yeah, I don't know what the script in the book is supposed to be either.
Anyway, it goes something like this. All day we bombard our brains with information from our phones, PC's, TV's, perhaps even talking to other people (shudder). On the bus? Phone. On the toilet? Phone. At home? PC. Eating lunch? PC/Phone/Colleagues. And on it goes. In the shower, however, there's no such thing. Well, for most of us anyway.
And so our thoughts start running free, like a dog finally off the leash. Like a cow released from the barn after winter. Like a child trying to chase both of them, but then trips and falls face first into a pile of manure. That's a shower thought.
I think the issue is that we're generally so preoccupied with the concept of being productive that we simply do not allow ourselves a moment to let the brain relax. Why just eat lunch when you could watch a Youtube video on hyenas at the same time? Why just walk when you could listen to a podcast at the same time? Why just sit at a funeral when you could be playing Trouble iN The aRena at the same time?
They look ready for three very different types of exercise.
I've personally found that my brain is at it's most creative when I'm doing something simple, like walking, and I don't have anything else occupying my brain. In general it's probably healthy to allow your brain that freedom for some amount of time per week, much like letting your muscles rest after exercise. Ironically, chasing productivity seems to make the brain worse at producing, because it's just being squeezed for all it has with no time to refill.
Well, that's enough of that.
Week's been pretty solid, scene three is doneso. As I'm sure you can tell from the images, it's largely the girls trying out new fits, with some talky talks and stuff added on. Up next is a rather spicy scene, those are always tough to predict how difficult they'll be to make. After that there are a few scenes that should be pretty quick and simple to make, which is nice.
And here are the winning outfits, neat!
In fact, I think most scenes of the episode should be pretty simple to make, aside from the spice scenes of course. Most scenes, except the final one, that's a long damned scene. Long by my standards, anyway. I tend to be on the lower side when it comes to quantity in words, compared to most visual novels. The goal is of course to have higher quality and to make it more engaging. Trim the fat, and all that.
The truth is that I don't really have much fat to trim, I'm kind of a chronic underwriter. A chronically laconic writer of chronicles? Title of my biography. Been a bit of a thing for all my life, every teacher I've ever had has asked me to elaborate more on my answers. But in my mind I've already sufficiently explained the answer.
And don't forget the choker! *Guitar solo*
Laconic is a fun word. I once read a web novel where the phrase "he said laconically" was used. Laconically feels like such an unlaconic word. The laconic way of writing that would simply be "he said" so it just felt really silly to read that. Then it was of course used again in prompt order. I think the author may have recently fallen in love with the word, we do that sometimes. One day I'll use the phrase "he said unlaconically" and the world shall tremble.
That's about as much as I had to say today, there were some more words than usual, so I added some more previews as well. Is there a fancy word like laconic that implies imagery instead of words? I was unlaconic with pictures today sounds odd. I guess cubism is kind of laconic. You don't suppose Picasso would have been popular in Sparta? I don't know how I got this far off topic.
Thank you very much for your support, and I hope you don't have to read the word laconic anymore this week, lest you suffer semantic satiation!
