Update #72 Late night tea

Toodeloo fellow tea-sippers. Here I am, late at night, with a lovely spot of brew wetting my parched lips. I would share, alas such powers are beyond me as of yet. I do hope you understand.

This week I made all of scene twelve, so that's nice. It was a close call, but then I made 60ish renders in a single day, which I'm pretty sure is a personal record. Neato! If only I could harness that state of mind every day, why I would have finished the entire game by now.

 Three on one? That hardly seems fair.

The crowd seen in the background looks exactly the same as the last scene in the arena. They're... very particular about having the same seats. Yep, that's why. Culture thing, you see.

Well, that's just how it goes as a solo dev. There's a limited amount of time and effort you can put into any given thing, so one has to either choose carefully, or get stuck in extremely long development cycles. Extremely long development cycles doesn't sound very fun at all, so cutting less important corners it is.

 This is how you win an Oscar.

I wonder if there one day will be a big event with awards for adult games. I mean, if there ever is I'm pretty sure I won't be invited, but it would be cool. And weird. But kinda cool. I propose we call it the Bobs. Everyone would want to win a Bob. I don't know why Bob is such a fun name to say, but it really is. Bob.

Apologies to any Bob's in the audience, I just like your name and I'm jealous. Sir Bob Bummer doesn't sound quite right, though.

Now then, time to steam on ahead! It's my cup of tea that's steaming, by the way, don't worry about it. There's only four more scenes to make, at least two of them are quite short. Scene thirteen may or may not end up with a spicy scene at the end, I still haven't decided. If I come up with something interesting in the week it'll probably happen, otherwise I might just put more oomph into the final spicy scene instead.
