Update #68 Redress the Red

I hope this missive finds you in good health, dear senators.

It has been brought to my attention that a grave crime has been committed against Ruru: she has not been featured in any promo images. As such, she gets two of them on this glorious day!

Furthermore, I bring good tidings for any who may have felt that the scene numbers have been ticking up at a painfully slow pace. This week I finished scene six, and promptly made scene seven and eight as well. To be honest, I don't feel like I did that much more than normal, those scenes were just kind of short.

 Tried to be a little artsy with the lighting in this scene.

Now begins the (possibly long) process of making scene nine. I really have no clue how long that one will take, it all depends on how ambitious I'm feeling. I do think I need to be somewhat less ambitious for the next episode so that I can create it a bit faster. Pretty sure I said that about this episode too...

Well, I really don't learn without making mistakes first. That's what I always say. I'm going to make every mistake in the book, probably a few more, please write a new book on those, but I'm only ever making a mistake once. Hopefully.

For reasons that will remain unexplained, I made a scene where a certain appendage has to disappear into a certain portal. Animated. That was difficult. I'm still not entirely happy with the way it looks, but it will have to do. For the sake of my mental faculties if nothing else.

Challenging as it was, I do think the scene itself turned out pretty well. I do prefer trying to make scenes that are a bit more interesting than plain missionary for the sake of procreation. It's not without its charms, and it does have a time and place, but variation is the spice of life, as they say.

 ... I'm jealous.

That's about as much as I had in my brain today, it's all emptied out. I shall take care of this travesty by filling it with moderate amounts of alcohol.
