Let's go for my favourite thor movie!! yes, it isn't the most popular one, neither the best in scenarion or else, but (maybe because of my nerdy viking personna) i feel more immersed in it. probably bescause I'm seeing this movie as more accurate to the mythology, more fantasy (and so the comics in a way) than the other. (the first was good but just an introduction for me). And i'm having a big soft spott for the music. (Frigga's funeral in particular☺️both sad and epic) good things you had the subtitles. munchies didn't had it. Breaking news: Idriss Elba, heimdall's actor, has been knighthed this 29 december by the king Charles III of England. He's now SIR Idriss Elba If you're interested in norse mythology, there is some information and reference you can see in the movie: First: we are in norse mythology, gods can be killed ! quite easily to be honest compared to the greeks one. But in movies, they're more Aliens with huge magical powerwho are seen as gods than actual gods. (after all they're made of flesh so they can be killed unlike God who's a spiritual beings (for the believers !!). marvel is having a lot of gods in his universe. ( "If they die, they'll come back three days later" thanks for that Lan 🤣🤣😅) The elves are diifcult to speak about in mythology. they exist but don't have real importance. the only elves i found with a name are god's servant. they are more like troll, lutin, fairies and other "little people" who live in nature and mess with humans. the dark elves are worse because the difference between dwarves an dark elves is blurred (if not non-existing) until Tolkien made it clear. because dark elves and dwarves are both magical and talented craftmans who can creatte anything (like a chain who look like silk but completly indestructible) Funny thing: a game franchise called Warhammer Fantasy had is own universe and dark elves who's king is called Malekith (created in 1995) ! but because of this movie, when Games Workshop (warhammer's owner) wanted to reboot it, they couldn't use the name anymore ! he became Malerion to avoid being Sued by Disney!!!😂 At a moment we saw Odin with 2 ravens, they're Huginn and Muninn (mind or memory and will or thoug). they're Odin's spies who fly accros the nine world and bring back what is happening in the universe. ( btw, they made a cameo in avengers one when Thor and Loki are speaking in the forest) Btw, here we have the best depiction of Odin. someone who can sacrifice anythings and everyone to succed and don't appreciate to be challenged. (for remember, Odin, in mythology, take you his own eyes to paid the price for all knowledge in the universe). but calling Odin a bad liar wasn't a good call.😅 Frigga, the queen is the goddess of earth. in other version, she's called Jord and is THE earth (his personnification, like Gaïa for greeks) Loki in this movie is such a good adaptation of the mythology. he tricked the elves making them believes he betray Thor, he tricks Thor to making him believe in his death and take Odin's place by taking a guard's form!! we have the best mischievous god possible. The god who can help the gods but also betray them each time he can but also helping them at the same time to betray them even more just after while messing with them all along !! that's Loki in all his story for you !!!! Loki in all his splendour!!!!!!! The Einherjar, in the movie, are asgard soldier. In mythology, they're the bravest humans warriors who died in battle and bring back into Asgard, to he Valhöl (or valhalla, hall of the fallen). they are training during the day to fight for the gods at the end of the world (ragnarök). and the night they're feasting, eating, drinking and having sex with the valkyries and women who are here. Kurse ( the big elves who kill Frigga and tried to kill Loki) is heavely inspired by Berserkir. a kind of warrior who druged themselves before battles, making them heavely resistant and dangerous. (but history tell a different kind of warrior. but we don't have any proof for each theory). About the reaction in himself. you're so funny !!! Tien's "you don't deserve your hair!" Lan and her conversation with thor when he's destroying everything Lan: come on ! stop destroing every.... Thor: not a word! Lan :OK .... I'm dead !!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Where's mew mew ? and your reaction to Loki last betray was wonderful!!. It's so fun seeing you discovering all that. I wonder if Lan will stay on Iron man as her favorite after what will happen later. I'm happyto see you loving those. Have a nice day Angels. PS:I hope those Mythological point doesn't bother you.

It's a great movie and it even lays the foundation for one of the best scenes in Endgame. I can't wait for the ladies to see it in a few weeks.😉 Loki has some interesting character development ahead of him. He may not be in many MCU movies, but he's one of the most interesting and popular characters in the entire MCU. Next week, The Winter Soldier Reaktion finally comes out. The Winter Soldier along with Batman: The Dark Knight and Logan, is one of the best superhero movies ever. I'll even go so far as to say that after you've seen The Winter Soldier, you'll both be Team Captain America.😅 That was a great reaction, as always, Angels...I really enjoy watching the MCU movies with you.💜

Getting ready to watch your reaction! Edit (after): Loki is a fun puzzle - you'll learn more as we go. The next one (Captain America: Winter Soldier) is one of my absolute favorites.
