the chopstick intro was so silly i loved it!

If you like games please play Hogwarts legacy. Its a lot of fun and the world is GREAT! its set about 100 years before Harry Potter. The movies get darker the older they get.

Stefan Williams

Imelda Staunton, the lady who played the pink lady Dolores Umbridge, is quite the theater legend in the West End. It's worth looking her up on Youtube if you enjoy musical theater.

Last 2 are amazing

BabymetalRocks

I for one have no interest in watching the Harry Potter movies even for a reaction, they are good movies well except for the last 2 but I would never tell you not to watch them. They are good movies in there own right, I even read 5 of the books before I lost interest. Keep going and watch them all.

Imperial Mort

Tien and Lan, you guys continue to drop one banger of reaction after another!! I'm REALLY enjoying this set of reactions. I like the 'wands' you guys had for this video... A few things for (hopefully) some clarification: Ol You Know Who IS, in fact, incapable of actual love. This is because he was conceived while his father was under the influence of a love potion administered by his mother. This destroyed Tom's ability to feel love. On a related (tangentially) note: the reason that Voldemort couldn't remain in possession of Harry's body at the climax is because the love of Lily that resides in Harry's body actually caused Voldemort pain (same reason Quirrel couldn't touch Harry without serious discomfort in the very first film). Ya'all are quite correct in perceiving that Voldemort was trying to encourage Harry to harm or even kill Bellatrix, because it would do irreparable harm to Harry TOO. Kreacher's story is somewhat diminished in the film. He was the Black family house elf. It isn't mentioned in any of the movies but Sirius had left his home and Kreacher TO Harry in the event of his death. In the books, Kreacher initially has a fairly antagonistic relationship with Harry, but as time goes on, Harry treats Kreacher with kindness and trust and they eventually become more friendly with one another. Umbridge is one of the most horrid characters I have ever encountered. I would say I think I hate HER even MORE than YKW! Luna Lovegood is a ravenclaw who is a year behind Harry. She's in Ginny's class and they are good friends. Harry doesn't really know her till THIS point in the story. It also isn't really addressed in the film but Professor Trewlawny, the divination teacher who umbridge attempted to shit-can, is the one who made the prophecy about Harry that brought down the wrath of Voldemort on Harry's family.

you two are so funny :) and i never could decide between Cho and Ginny :)....

Helena Bonham Carter who plays Bellatrix is Marla in Fight Club.

MWS

Katie Leung who played Cho Chang is Chinese. She was born in Scotland. Her parents originally came from Hong Kong. I must add as TMI that if I had to choose between Cho and Ginny it would be Cho all the way.

You're right about the directors. This is the one I like the least. It's too mixed up and the editing is a bit weird. There's a lot of the material from the books was left out. Some subplots were eliminated and the main plot was simplified. The next movie left out a huge amount of the book so I hope you can understand what's going on. The whole epic of Harry's girlfriends was such a mess in the movies that it makes no sense at all. Poor Cho got tossed aside without a second glance.

Mandrake is actually a real plant. The roots can resemble a person or a doll, so that is probably the origin of the folklore that they scream when you pull them out and if you hear that you die. Of course, that is not true, but if you eat the plant, yeah, then you'll die. Phoenix is pronounced by Americans like FEE-NIX. We even have an entire city called Phoenix. English is just a bunch of stolen words, so a lot of the rules don't make sense, or maybe there are no rules. But, anytime you see a word that starts with PH but has the F sound, it's a clear giveaway this is a word that we stole from the Greeks/Latin. Philosophy, Phenomenon, photon.

My nephew always watches Harry Potter at Christmas time. The Angels make it seem like it's more of a Halloween movie. Tien, you now have something that looks like a magic wand, but do you think it's a smart move to disrespect the Dark Lord as your first act, especially when the only spell you know is Riddiculus. So if I follow your logic and Harry is Frodo and Ron is Sam, does that make Hermione to Smeagol...jk.πŸ˜… The Order of the Phoenix is the longest Harry Potter book (a little over 1000 pages in Germany at least). This means that the movie adaptation had to be cut the most of all the books. Unfortunately, a lot of great scenes and world building were lost in the process. Because you asked what happened to Neville's parents and the movie never really answers that. In the movie we only find out that the parents were tortured by Death Eaters. They were tortured until they lost their minds and practically trapped into their own heads. There is a touching scene in the book. Harry and the Wesleys visit their father in the hospital for Christmas and there they meet Neville and his grandmother who are visiting his parents. His parents don't even recognize Neville and his mother gives him a candy wrapper. His grandmother tells him to throw it away but the book implies that Neville keeps it like a Christmas present from his mother. It's a scene to give Neville's character a bit more depth. Hearing your theories reminds me of how my friends and I used to theorize about what would happen next between the books. I'd say the reaction to the next movie will definitely be interesting.πŸ˜… That was an awesome reaction, Angels.πŸ’œ

One thing you need to understand, Avada Kadavra kills Instantly. Any life form. There is no bringing back the dead.

The 5th book was my favorite, but it didn't translate to film as well as the others. The next movie is a slower burn, but it's awesome, and I can't wait for that reaction.
