The way too realistic rape scene, which zooms close up on the rapist’s disgusting face, haunted me for years — any time I thought of it, I felt nauseous, and wanted to curl up into the fetal position. Anyone who hasn’t seen this and is curious should be very careful going in, especially if you’ve experienced violent sexual assault!
