Hello everyone and sorry for the delay - for several reasons the production of this animation ended up taking much longer than even I was expecting x3 I come bearing good news though: the animation has already been fully rendered!
The original files ended up taking about 320 GB, quite a heavy project x3
The total length is over 10 minutes now! I was originally aiming for 7 minutes, but looks like some miscalculations were made here... ha-ha x3

I know I’ve been running a bit behind schedule, and that’s because the project kinda grew beyond the scope of a simple "mini-animation" h3

What’s left is polishing the body physics, fine-tuning the core animation loops, and wrapping up the opening scene that kicks off the whole story.

Between projects, I've been slowly digging through my backlog—and I finally finished one of the long-standing ones!

To be honest, these otter figurines of Andy (a character by the amazing Zaush) have been sitting almost done on my drive for about a year now. But prepping 3D models for printing is so mentally draining for me, I kept putting it off whenever I could. x3

This is a test animation that I made as part of studying and testing the new version of Blender and eevee next. Ray tracing turned out to be a very powerful tool, taking eevee to a new level. A quick update on my current projects :3

So, where do I begin… the new versions of Blender are… quite something, let’s say :D

Until recently, I was mostly using versions below 4.0. They had their quirks, but they got the job done. However, after watching countless tutorials and receiving advice from friends, I decided to dive into the world of Blender’s new Eevee Next.

A Halloween-themed pen/stylus and phone stand model that I've been working on for the last few days. When the model is ready and tested in printed form, subscribers of the "Feed the Hare" and "Play with the Hare" levels will have access to print files :3
