It’s quite the spiritual freedom inducing experience when you realize that you are a tool to get what they want and when they feel the tool is obsolete, they throw it and order the next one. Or they keep the tool in the toolbox while they use the newer, shinier tool, even if that tool has done thousands of repairs for them over their lifetime.
