EMERGENCY PLEASE ANSWER MILITARY MEMBERS

As most of you know, from my social media, I have been covering the suicide of a TikToker, who took his own life due to false allegations. There was a man that spearheaded this, and this is him. I’m wondering if this is authentic military gear, what branch he’s from, and if he could really be that stupid as to where his name tag

No. This style of uniform was phased out in the late 2010s. The fabric was a 50/50 nylon and cotton mix, but it felt very uncomfortable, like wool. You couldn't roll up the sleeves either. He looks familiar, and I think you interviewed him for an hour on youtube Chloe. This might actually be the Coast Guard sailor involved in this mess, pretending to be Army. Seeing this reminds me of Dungeons and Dragons, and how people dressed up for that. It was Cosplay back in the day.

No the UCP was army but phased out in 2019 under his arm you can see mesh ventilation vents and the collar style is not an everyday top looks like a wet weather top the helmet cover isn't properly attached the army allows hyphenated name tapes but I've never seen a "jr" added to one and that mask is the wrong shades not issued and that rank is sergeant first class or SFC who would atleast know how to assemble his helmet he's 100% not in the military

No. This color alone has been out of service since 2016. The Army and Air Force, both wore these pixelated gray uniforms, and we hated these. They were wool, and you could not roll up the sleeves. Imagine wearing this in 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit, or 54-60 degrees Celsius in dry midday desert heat in the Middle East 2011. Do not get caught in a sand storm in these either, it was the absolute worst feeling. This stage uniform is not current military issue. Only a copy of a current style with an out dated color scheme. He is a role/game player showing off.
