Marvel Fic Decision

Hey everyone,

I’ve been sitting with this for a while, and it’s time to be upfront: I don’t think I’m cut out for writing the stoic genius types. Y’know, the cold, calculating, always-ten-steps-ahead characters like Nero. As much as I love the world I built—and I do—lately, writing it has felt more like dragging a corpse than breathing life into a story. Every update takes more out of me than it gives back.

Truth is, I realized I thrive with another kind of energy entirely.

I’m talking about characters like Ryuu—loud, foul-mouthed, chaotic disasters with heart. Bastards who fuck up, swear too much, don’t know how to shut up, but still crash through walls because they care too hard.

So, here’s the situation:

I’m seriously considering dropping Marvel fic to focus on a new one—same grit, same edge, but a totally different world, different cast, and a hell of a lot more fun for me to write. Something raw, unpredictable, and emotionally honest.

I don’t want to drag this story out just because it exists. I want to pour into something I’m actually burning to tell. That said, I wanted to check in with you all first—because your support is the reason I’ve been able to create any of this.

If I shift directions, some of you might bounce, and that’s fair. But if you’re down for something unhinged, furious, hilarious, and completely new—stick around. I promise, what comes next won’t be boring.

Let me know how you feel about the switch. Much love, always!

Comments

I appreciate it, truly. And thank you. You were one of the rare few who commented under every chapter, always showing support, and that means a lot. I will write an epilogue to tie up the loose ends and give it the fair ending.

First I joined this patronage for Marvel because I found it very interesting, it wasn't that OP, it was just right, it wasn't a sudden increase in power and it had a relationship with KHR, a spectacular series that didn't reach its maximum, I would like to see what the ending would have been or better yet to know what its trajectory would have been, if you're going to leave it please write the story of how things would have happened please, if not, I just want to know what would have happened, but I'm going to continue here for Ryuu's story which I loved, if the next story you're going to write is going to surpass Marvel's story please do it but with your heart please, I hope you keep writing with desire.

Nothing is wrong with needing a change of pace

Stir the pot and make something you love to write about. Nothing wrong with not liking to write a rigid and no nonsense character. If you feel better to write a story with a mc gungho about stuff and using his outgoing personality to suck you into their pace and change everything, while leaving the world turned upside-down and better, then do it dawg
