September 2023 - Progress Update and Sketch Dump

Heyyo Everybuddy! September has been... a month. lots of ups and downs.

I got to visit family for my sister's wedding, which was fun. but it meant I got to take a week off from work, which kinda hurt financially. it wouldn't be the biggest issue in the world, but my roommate and housing situation also continued to be a small pain. nothing in serious disarray, but its a stressful note to end the month on. the wedding trip really is what the month surrounded, getting all my affairs in order to leave, and now trying to restart things back up now that I'm back

my Daily Doodle rules changes worked out good, with a lot of good colorings, though i am unsure to include them here with the others since their not really sketches anymore. idk. Commissions went well, finishing 2 big comic commissions, Touching Grass and X-Weaving plus all the smaller ones I got done. Naturally, for October I'mma advertise myself some more and get some new big ticket coms to last me a month or two :P

Hypnagogia got a bit done, starting chapter 3, which will get going with another playable page soon, but of course I gotta make that. So it'll likely be slow going into October. MBaW! actually got a burst of energy put into it as I got back from the wedding. as of writing I think I have fixed the initial art asset issue that stalled me before, but in doing so got a handful of new bugs to fix. Ideally I can get these tech issues fixed and I can start working on the content editing, which is the other big thing that needs to get done before I can start making content again. Hopefully over the course of October, I can iron these tech issues out and start burning thru the large stack of unedited content to try and make a releasable build of MBaW! again. No direct promises, but we'll see.

What I can promise is a special extra Twitch stream every week of October on Tuesday nights (starting at 7pm PST), covering the Twisted Metal series of games, as they feel fitting for the season. I call these streams Twisted Metal Tuesday! (because Twisted Monday was already taken XP)
