Here’s how the idea for Alina first came to life.
I’ve always enjoyed drawing my friends — especially stylish and charming women. Sometimes, I even gift those drawings on birthdays or special occasions. In that sense, art has been a very rewarding talent to have.
One day, I created a character-style portrait as a birthday gift for a one lovely friend.
At the time, I was also brainstorming ideas for a new comic character.
My friend loved the portrait, and I was really happy with how it turned out too.
That’s when I realized — she turned out pretty cute, actually.
With my friend’s permission, I began sketching comics featuring this character. At first, it was just for practice — something I only shared with a few people around me.
That is… until it unexpectedly hit over 100,000 views on Reddit.
With so much support from readers, I decided to take this project more seriously.
As of writing this post, I hope you’ll understand that there aren’t any special rewards yet.
This is still the early stage, and supporters are joining as part of the creative journey.
