So just to set the record straight - I actually quite like Season 3 a lot even with some of its shortcomings (tbf, its hard to beat or even meet Season 2), but there was and still is a bit of controversy regarding Season 3 in terms of his historical accuracy. As you've learned by now, Umamusume takes great pride in being fairly faithful to the source material (real life events) but Season 3 cranked the drama up for the sake of storytelling and may have tweaked the truth a bit when it comes to how Kitasan Blacks final year actually unfolded. Not the races themselves, thats obviously accurate, but her being past her peak and her physical decline is... exaggerated quite a bit.
If you actually look at the real Kitas career, specifically the individual race results, average finish, margin of victory, time between distance markers, etc etc, then compare the entirety of that final year with the prior year, you see a picture that shows that IRL Kitasan was at best EQUALLY as strong and competitive during his final year as he was during the prior year, or at worst was so marginally worse that it practically falls into margin of error. In terms of actual health, Kitasan was as fit as he had ever been - he wasn't struggling to breathe, he wasn't hyperventilating, he wasn't having trouble finding the stamina to make passes, both his primary jockey and trainer both described him as in top shape. Meanwhile Season 3 would lead you to believe this wasn't the case, but in reality Kitasan likely had atleast another racing season in him or atleast a cut-down season.
The true cause of his retirement was that by the time you get to the events of the end of Season 3, Kitasan had won just about everything that he could and he was Japans golden boy - his owners figured he had done enough and it was time to retire him so that he could be put out to stud. Even if he could run longer, the more they waited, the more races they ran him in, the higher the risk of some injury or worse to occur.

34:52 - The Japan Cup is not a debut race, she meant that her debut was held at the same race track. Races will re-use existing tracks starting at various points on the track to change the distance and terrain (hills) that exist on the course.
43:14 - Yes, the Arima Kinen is usually on the last Sunday of the year. You notice though that the 31st is the last Sunday for that year, however New Years events take precedent, so the race is held before then.

Umamusume: Beginning of a New Era releases in NA theaters on Feb 27th. I don't know if you can/want to sync the reaction to that somehow, but it would be cool!

Beginning of a New Era - movie that takes place in time after RTTT
Cinderella Gray - 2 seasons 13 episodes each so far and all peak
