I don’t remember the webcomic from this section enough to speak on it much, I think I read it like 7-8 years ago. That said, I’m fairly sure many of the fights in this arc are either way shorter/simpler, or don’t exist in the first place. The webcomic has far more focus on comedy and parody than the manga which does still have that but also has many shonen-type influences

I’m also curious because there are parts in the near-ish future that also had numerous redraws, so I’m not sure if they’ll use the original or revised version of those

So, this was something I, and probably many others, never brought up cause we assumed it wouldn’t need to come up.
The manga occasionally undergoes redraws for certain chapters. It’s usually just when Murata is unsatisfied with the final product so he decides to scrap it all and restart. This battle with Child Emperor was one of the most often redrawn sections, and so has many differences between potential versions.
The weird part is that the anime used what I believe is the FIRST version of the fight, rather than the ACTUAL version of the fight. Some people might actually prefer this, as this redraw was fairly controversial as lots of people liked seeing Child Emperor pushed to his limit and coming out on top on his own instead of Saitama stepping in. Regardless of that, it’s technically not canon any more, and now the version you guys read is the canon version. At least in the manga.
We’ll have to see how the anime moves forward and whether it splits fully from the manga
