All S ranks (apart from healer S ranks) can one shot a A rank, there is a big gap between S and A rank.

2025-03-10 13:55:42 +0000 UTCAs I'm sure you'll hear from others, they changed some context within the Jinwoo v Goto fight quite a bit. They really changed a lot around the writing of the Japanese hunters in general, for the better. Goto was much more arrogant in his fight with Jinwoo, showing much more anger with Jinwoo just dodging. In his frustration with Jinwoo, instead of the "I will crush him" line, Goto thinks "I'm going to kill him". The system gives Jinwoo a warning about "an enemy with murderous intent nearby", similar to what we saw in S1. Jinwoo and Goto clearly weren't going to be hold back and that's when the other S rank jumped in. They didn't want anything to happen to the leader of the Japanese hunters, possibly jeopardizing the whole operation.
