Pics 224: Hanging out in the bar
Added 2025-09-19 21:00:08 +0000 UTCI decided it was time to update Lizzard's Nightclub. I had a couple of "club sets" I picked up last year and tried them both out.
This is the more elaborate of the two. In fact it's too elaborate. Lots of lights and reflections and this test image made from single image "billboards" took a freaking long time to render.
So I tried the second set, which was more of a lounge than a club but it has a better bar. Lounge means it's filled with tables and chairs, which I removed to make a dance floor. And of course I painted the walls green for nostalgia reasons.
Each bar scene has three versions with three outfits. This outfits is the replacement of the red plaid dress which is a rare outfit. It's a beautiful dress but it's a bit see through.
One thing I can't do with this bar is having the bartender look at Ariane when she falls over drunk, because the bar is too wide, so I moved him around the bar instead. Released a couple of test pics below too.
Coming Soon
I wrote the above almost two weeks ago. I finished all the bar scenes, except the Ariane and Rebecca dancing stuff, but I got distracted by doing all the Museum scenes, except the Venus de Milo scene. I'll knock both of these out soon, and do some testing. Then release the monthly update.
