This is the picture of the bartender at the end of the game still dressed. There's a really dumb bug in the game I discovered that if you are not playing with the bonus on and reach the ending where you talk to the bartender, the bartender inexplicably shows up topless.
I did a stealth patched to all versions to fix it, but the bug was there for a couple of weeks. So if the bartender hands you your end of the game drink without a shirt on, that's why. Anyways, just a heads up.
I have a handful of other pics to talk about. This is a single render containing eight high resolution characters. Granted they're all naked so that reduces the memory requirements, but usually any more than 5 and I'll split it up into layers, or my computer starts having memory issues. Eight with no layers is unprecedented.
The couple waltzing on the left are Lin and Jack, the Sailboat couple. The three musicians are the street musicians from day 1 and 3. The man in the middle is the guy who grabbed Ariane's bottom while dancing. The old pic he had a small penis, decided to make it an uncontrolled penis this time. The purple haired woman was in that same scene, and the black haired woman on the right is Tassiana, the murder suspect in disguise.
Here's the bonus scene where you meet the bartender which includes the volleyball players and the naked jogger from Day 2. The non-bonus version has the volleyball players with their clothes on.
The bonus ends with one of five characters attending the party. I'm featuring Flo who I was forced to change for this scene because her face and body shape was all off. Probably should go back and change her earlier pics but it's a barely noticeable difference.
Worse is the police officer Joelle who mentions having her "hair down", but because I gave her a tight Afro she doesn't have any hair to put down. I should correct it, but now it's an ironic joke, so I left it.
Finally is the post credit scene with Trish, Ariane and Rachel dancing at the party. This I did with layering, rendering the 6 character background then adding the three in the foreground. You can see that time passed, the second picture above is approaching sunset, this one it's already night.
The near future
Next month, I'll be back to Dating in a World on Fire. I now have about 3 chapters of story to tell (currently just outlined) starting with three new origin stories for the player character to begin the game. I'm having to re-render all the pictures to 1440p and that's what I've been spending my September doing. All the tricks I learned over the summer are coming in handy as I redo the pictures, and making them better!
