Pic 78: My favorite new pics for SITAR 0.2

I released the latest SITAR update 0.2 on Saturday. See that post for details if you have access.

SITAR 0.2 comes with about 50 new pictures for a new section that didn't exist in SITA, so I want to avoid spoilers. Here then are my favorite updated pics for stuff that has been in SITA since it came out in 2013.

I'll start with the above picture, which is a new Ice Cream parlor set. It is actually a candy store set I bought on sale and never found a use for it until I used it for one picture in Ariane in Paradise, which seems kind of a waste for a perfectly good set. So it became my Ice Cream Parlor set for SITAR. 

This picture was actually problematic from a photography point of view: I had to light Ariane and Rebecca, but the lights kept reflecting in the glass windows behind them (a common problem with all photography)  One of the lights is perfectly aligned so its reflection is hidden by Rebecca's head. (If you look really close at the reflection you can tell where I photo edited out part of the light that wasn't completely covered)

Another section I redid was the 3 movies (a nude scene from the drama is also attached).  These were always supposed to be representative stills that satire films of the genre.  Continuing in that tradition, I couldn't help updating the satire, so in the action stills, I desaturated the 3 frames in a tribute to Zack Snyder who seems to love desaturating his movies.

Another case of I set I bought but never used until now is the hair salon set. In 2011 when I originally made the pictures, all I could find was a tanning salon set. A couple of years later I did find a hair salon, but never changed out the tanning salon set until now. The hair salon set got painted green and became backstage of Lizards Lounge.  But here it is retextured to work in Superfly and looking a lot like the place I go to get a haircut.

Finally is this back alley picture with Suki, which most people never see except to fill in the missing blanks in the Heidi and Suki notebook.  All I did was replace old Suki with new Suki, and change the lighting.  I really love this lighting, seems extra sinister for a back alley.

Also attached is a still from a fake Loco Cola TV spot that I am using in the background in places whenever a TV is turned on, like the "Phone Sex" scene.  Can't use stills from actual TV and Movies, so I have to make my own.
