SITAR Redux early draft version 0.1

I uploaded a first draft of Something's In The Air Redux (current working title) and made it accessible to dater patrons at https://arianeb.itch.io/somethings-in-the-air-redux/patreon-access

Major changes from SITA 4th Edition:

Play it if you get a chance and tell me what you think. Did I cut too much stuff? Is there stuff you want back?  I have made changes in dialog and stories to try and accommodate a female player character, but there is no art or sound effects for it yet.  If you see any things that doesn't make sense, tell me.

I am wide open to suggestions at this point, even to the point of scrapping SITA altogether and replacing it with a new story if I can think of something better.

Thanks. I got a "main mystery" in mind that plays into the satire/immersive goals, but I'm wondering if it is a little too "tacky". I'll talk more about it later. The weather control mystery, which has been the main mystery, is -- if I pull it off correctly -- the beginning of a bigger mystery, which needs to be written and illustrated, which is why I am cutting stuff out to begin: I want to add some new stuff at the end. And my plan to add Rachel Meets Ariane as an epilogue/act 3 is still in tact, too. This is going to be a big game when it is done.

Played it several times. I don't think you cut too much stuff (if it's still your goal to make the game a more immersive one). I like the basic idea of SITA: Player is new in town, there are mysteries to solve, meeting and date several girls with different backstories (and these are related somehow). So why not use these "ingredients" to build up the next level SITA? In one of your last posts you come up with the idea of convincing other characters that something is happening and you should investigate together. This enables a way to add a lot of more mysteries (time by time). But it should not only be about solving mysteries - there should be something like a "main mystery" in the background. Some of the characters are involved in this "main mystery". There are surprising twists and turns: first it seems that you convinced someone to help you and you pursuing the same goal until you recognize that this character has its own goals... Probably none of this is new, but maybe this gives you further ideas to develop SITA further. This is what I had in mind so far.

I've already established that she shows up alive in later games with a prosthetic arm, and since I'm turning this into a time loop game, a life saving rescue plan seems like an obvious new plot point.

Still think bonnie's death is a little mood killing
