Upcoming Project: Working Title - Pageturners!
Added 2025-01-27 07:56:38 +0000 UTCSo, I've been working on something in the background, and I figured it'd be a nice perk of the Patreon to give y'all a sneak peek at the TTRPG system I'm looking to make!
Based on Powered By the Apocalypse, it's a Scrabble-Tile based skill system with "Spell Checks" working to meet the DC of checks and various levels of success/failure.
Using two playbooks to create a character, you will be able to create a fairy tale archetype to use special powers as a "Reader".
Now, for the actual document, I've been debating how to present the visuals of characters in the playbooks:
A more monochromatic colour palette, similar to Homestuck's style. OR...
A Shadow Puppet Silhouette reminiscent of Revolutionary Girl Utena.
The main aesthetic of the game system is to be a person trying to read between the lines of the world you live in; Grimm's Fairy Tales in urban fantasy, trying to figure out what plots are hiding behind the Cover of everyday life.
