So the biggest update I've done yet is now out

What does this mean?

I means I am going to take a break so I don't burn myself the fuck out again

This month you are likely not going to see any work here besides me answering questions about things, any necessary bugfixing, and possibly me drawing artwork.

Regarding the future of the mod, I've done it, I made the NPC pred system actually good, and I made the player non transformed system actually good, and just, holy heck is it satisfying, but it did help me learn about the things I am not.

I am not a writer, or at the very least, writing does not inspire me the way other art forms do, me writing the dialogue lines for the NPC preds was the biggest slog I felt while ever working on this mod, which is why, you'll probably find that theres more lines for the different personality types for the preds, than there are for the prey, this is because, I started with writing the lines for preds first, as preds got more votes on that poll, and flirty and shy personality types were the most popular, so Preds have at least 4 lines for each context for the default personality, as well as flirty and shy, meanwhile, prey mainly just has lines for the default personality, there are a few for flirty and shy, but not many, and then theres generally only 1-3 lines for each context, rather than 4

So what does this mean? it means I myself will probably not be writing dialogue lines in the future, I will happily add any lines people suggest into the mod, put them in a fitting context and personality type, and if people greatly desire more lines or personality types to be added, I will probably seek out someone who would be interested in writing, and use the money from patreon here to commission them

This will also apply in the future when I will offer commissions for adding your character as an NPC pred, probably somewhere around $100? I will happily draw sprites, but if you don't want to write the dialogue yourself, you'd be getting the default dialogue, or have to find someone else to write it for you

What about the predator transformations? I am going to finish the Zoroark when I get back to working on this after my break, however, additions of the large predator transformations will likely not be as frequent as making species compatible with the new player vore system, or taking on commissions for NPCs due to the sheer amount of work for the large transformations, it is much higher than I have been pricing them, which is why the last one took so long

I have been putting so much effort into this thing, and sometimes I feel like its a mistake, that I'm not being compensated enough, that I'm treating it like its my job, when I certainly don't make enough off of this to support myself, and I hate the fact that I'm treating it like a job when I used to just love doing it

already feel insane when asking the prices of $300+ when these things take over a month of work I should be asking for $1000+ and I just feel like thats insane, who would take that

The most fun I usually have is when I don't even think about "what would the patrons want" and I just go off and make some silly fun thing that I wanted to make, like me adding the gelatinous cube skin for the slime, me adding the plastic eggs, me making eggs violently explode with a stock explosion when you press the escape combo, me going off and adding a fucking TF gun because I had the functionality for it, me making the doors from metroid (which I am going to post as a separate mod on steam later) thats when I have the most fun, when I'm just thinking for myself

So, I'm not too sure about the future of polls, I will still use them, especially for things I can't decide on, or to choose between things I'm most interested in at the time, but they'll likely be shorter, I won't wait a week to get the result, probably only a day or two, we'll see next time it happens
