Yay for babbit! This was the video I wanted to ask for but didn't think it would happen The worst part is, I know of 2 sheet metal rolls that are still in service that need new babbit bearings... But I doubt the shop that has them will give them up... :( If you ever come across a casting that needs more oomph than brazing let me know. I can guide you through the process of oxy fuel Welding of cast iron. I'd gladly offer my skills but living in the frozen wasteland of upstate NY, the shipping costs might be a tad much... Its kinda like brazing, but the filler is a cast iron filler, color match is Much better and it's stronger from what I can tell.

What size of knurling wheels does your tool need? I got a couple of bunches from random auctions, and there were quite a few duplicates, so if I can find them and if they'll be of use, I'd be happy to send you some.

Love brass and bronze with knurling - I'm kind of a knurling knut (from the KKKK, Kind Knights of Knurling Nuts). I'm always searching for new knurl patterns but rarely find them. Maybe we could get an engraver to make a wheel that puts Hand Tool Rescue in the form of your seal on a part - that would be cool! Loved the whole piece, and I'm ready for the doubleheader full five-hour version with Ben Hur! Ha Ha Ha!!!
