IT IS DONE!

This crazy saw is finally done.  Thank you to all of you Patrons.  Without you, this chainsaw series could not have been made.  I appreciate your support so much!

On to the next one...

IT IS DONE!

I don't know if it's running like *new* but it is definitely running well enough that I want no part of it!

Thank you! It was fun to use.

I hope there’s a narrated video. They’re my favorite part.

Just awesome Eric... This series has been epic! Bravo!

Richard Thompson

That saw is a beast. Great job it looks great

Christopher Woolley

So I guess I should wait for the narrated version to come out to watch it ;)

Shock & Awe! Only other restorers can truly appreciate that tingle you feel as the mix of repaired, replaced, repainted, and renewed elements come together in final assembly. There isn't a drug better than when you turned over the motor, it caught, and roared to life! And then, in that moment you think again of the men who used this to make a living over 60 years ago - and here this beast is running again! Only because of people like you will future people get a chance to see what timber work was like in Canada in that era. Fine job, Eric, fine job.

Marc McKenzie

Please doublecheck all the locking metal on the bolts. I think you bent them all in the wrong direction. Or maybe it's dyslexia... Just sayin'.

Chuck Kirchner

These new fangled chain-saws are only a fad. You can never replace a good crescent ground crosscut saw! You kids these days are too soft!

Tim The Enchanter

Awesome! Thanks!!

Hahaha

Pretty typical for you, thorough, careful, meticulous, and entertaining. I wouldn't expect anything less., and still of all the restoration channels, it's the best IMHO. Looking forward to more. Thank you.

Wilmer Schock

This is an amazing project! You, sir, are setting a very high bar for all the restoration videos on the Internets :) I also enjoy annotated videos very much - please keep doing it, you have a talent for it.

That's a big ol' girl, that one. Nice work, mate - your usual high quality work, and not the "over-restoring" some others seem prone to do. Must take some weighty testes to be the hand on the far end of that behemoth...

Dan Johnston

Love your vids. REALLY love your podcast.

Glenn Severance

I believe he's bending the sheet metal against the bolt to help prevent them from loosening due to the vibration, like it was originally.

A truly amazing job ..Congratulations on finishing it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Frank Yazzetta

Loving it.... One question. It appears that you are hitting some of the assembly bolts with a chisel after tightening them? like at 5:13, 7:18,15:51 Why? Asking for a friend.

Paul Spirito

Nice big project! Amazing!

Congratulations! Fantastic job!
