Oooh yeah you dirty birdy, talk technical to me.

TheGoldDude

Nice resto once again... 10/10

The narration is the best part. I finally made the move to become a patreon supporter for the narrations. I hope there are more in the future!

What Pascal said. You've given the mob of a taste, and now they crave for moaahrr

Vladimir Baciu

Really?! Awesome.

Hand Tool Rescue

The narrated version is my new favorite thing!

Most are the same, but I have found that ones in a spray can do not seem to turn the rust purple and actually leave a nice looking finish.

Hand Tool Rescue

What do you suggest for rust convertors?

Steve Seidel

Thanks! Will do.

Hand Tool Rescue

Narration is awesome... keep them coming please!

Richard Thompson

I did enjoy the voice over. It helped me with your thought process. I could see why you did something the way you did and why that way. Why the method you choose over others. Great job.

Flint Buchman

You know what I enjoyed listening to what you were doing and why you made some decisions etc. Keep it up!

that soothed my ears

The mill is a Haas Super Mini Mill and the lathe is a Hwacheon from South Korea. The ring did not spark like high carbon steel, so I am just confused about the whole thing.

Thank you! Welcome!

Your little blurp on YouTube at the end of vid that you narrate your vids made me a patreon supporter, lol. Great vids, and hello from Alberta.

I'm likely to end up watching both versions, for reasons like hearing the story about the mill and lathe vs just watching shiny cnc tools. Also, on the subject of those, what brands are they? The mill didnt seem like a hass and that is about as much as I can guess about it (Damnit Jim! I'm a welder not a machinist!lol) When you filled up the holes did you try grinding on the part first and if so what did the sparks look like? Spark testing can give you a vauge ballpark idea of how much carbon you're up against. Carbon is the biggest cause of steel hardness. Older steel makers didnt try and control carbon the way that we do now. They just wanted it to not be cast iron or pure iron and could have very easily ended up in the "hard to weld" range of carbon.

Clifton Ballad

That's why I didn't narrated by videos from day 1. These are just for the superfans that love all the details.

Well... Narration expands the amount of info and I like that. I agree with Wilmer about the attention required. Usually your work and some notes are enough for me.

Was it me that gave you the idea for this? Because yours were the first silent presentation that I had ever watched, and I can recall the wondering uneasiness at first, that I prefer the quiet viewing. When I am the auditor I have to work a bit harder at paying attention that I find the silence compelling.

Wilmer Schock

Thank you! Any tips or changes that would make it better?

Hand Tool Rescue

I really enjoyed the narration!
