Hajime has reached a zen state concerning his exploding weight, but he's not above making his mischievous fellow tanuki work for it. Enjoy!

There was a certain wisdom to letting things go, and in the spirit of the Zen philosophy that had formed the bedrock of his life, Hajime had decided to let go of this personal grudge with his cousins. It was true— they had completely, utterly ruined his career as a samurai. The only armor that would fit him now was the same armoring they fitted on tanks, and the last time he trained in a duel, he had been hit by his opponent a dozen times— and they had to pause three times as his opponent's blade got lost in the hefty, blubbery folds of his belly. But, being a sumo was not without its benefits— he was already the heaviest, largest sumo around and was on the verge of cinching a championship title— the first of many, that much he was determined to make a reality.
Between his cousins plying him with food— they had already decided on treating him to a pre-victory feast, where they were already in the midst of preparing his actual victory feast for after the tournament. Platters of spring rolls and sushi, bowls of ramen large as hubcaps, and bottles upon bottles of sake, had all disappeared into Hajime's waiting maw, and were now just a few more pounds that made him an impassable mountain of a sumo.
The tanuki's belly alone would flatten the old him; a massive tidal wave of blubber that stretched out his miwashi and was now resting on his floor, anchoring him further to his spot. His limbs were incredibly dense and thick with several layers of excess weight, his legs thick around as tubs, and a couch-crushing ass that was starting to swallow up his tail. He would be trapped in his own body if not for his warrior training and the deep wells of strength he had still built up during this ordeal.
"Hey, cuz! How much more are you going to want to eat by the way, anyways?" One of the tanuki asked, draped over Hajime's broad shoulders. The tanuki then grinned, dimpling his billowing cheeks. He had let go of his grudge— but he was still a tanuki, and perhaps he could indulge by messing with his cousins a little bit.
"Oh, don't worry. I'll let you know when I've had enough," Hajime replied. He was going to make them work— and show them just how much he really could eat.
