Determined to Date- Part 3

Rigby still has to defend Monsters, but that's getting a lot harder now that his armor mysteriously shrunk- what's that about? Enjoy, folks! We'll see how big he gets next week.

"C'mon- c'mon, man! This- is- totally- bogus!" Rigby grunted, the lapine monster grunting and straining under the effort. Things may have gotten just a bit out of hand; his lunch dates with Reggie at Metaton's Burger Emporium had become dinner dates too, and then just last week, he and his bro had totally kissed! It didn't get much more official than that, and now he and his bro were boyfriends- brofriends, as they preferred.

But it was starting to look like Rigby was growing as fast as his relationship with Reggie was growing. Maybe three solid weeks of Nice Cream every day, followed by three weeks of double bacon cheeseburgers every day, had not been the best idea. He had not really thought it would get this out of hand, because as a Royal Guard, he had always had a righteous bod- but now?

The guard's belly had grown to an enormous degree, a huge, white boulder, like a massive snowball, that hung off his flabby torso. There was still plenty of muscle just under the surface, but everything was plumped up and covered in thick sheets of fat, like a heavy snowfall that coated his entire body. His limbs were caked in fat, his augmented hips and inflated rear threatening to burst apart his guard's greaves and chausses. As for his belly, it refused to suck in enough for his belt to envelope his new circumference. His inflated cheeks were red as he huffed and puffed, and finally, after his strength failed him, he had to admit defeat.

"Hey! Rigby! We're gonna be late for guard duty!" Reggie called from downstairs.

"Uh…" Rigby gulped. "I, uh, don't think so, dude- I'm… sick!"

"Aw man… I was gonna surprise you with the new burgers at Grillby's for lunch!"

Rigby glanced down at his too-small armor. Maybe no one would notice… "Uh, you know what, bro, I got a second wind! Let's go!"
